Hard time at a DVC resort

That being said, AKL would be a great second choice, especially if you take both AKL-K and Jambo House together. If you had to separate the two, as much as I love Jambo, I'd likely take Kidani with its extra bathrooms and the bread service at Sanaa of which I can never get enough! pirate:
I consider that Kidani and Jambo are part of the same prison even though they're separate booking categories. You can wander between them. I've always considered that even the hotel sections are part of the "prison". So, if you were imprisoned at BLT, you would be able to use the Contemporary facilities as well. Which is good since there is almost nothing there to eat at BLT, except the meager poolside bar and "Villain's Lair" (which is appropriate in this case :teeth:).

VGF Grand Villa

Restaurants: one of my favorites, anywhere is V&A. And if doing hard time at VGF is what it's going to take to reopen that puppy... I will make the sacrifice. All the other signatures, and 1900 PF... and drinks, and tea ... it's a no brainer for me on food and drink. I love going to Enchanted Rose for a drink.

Shopping: GF is one of the few resorts where I set aside time to shop. I would use allll the bath bombs and Basin White in my deep soaking tub.

Massage, hair and nails? Yes please. And my kids could stay too, with BBB.

Activities - I think I would use the marina that I've always admired and never really booked.

I love Riviera but the food options are too few. And I love Topolino's - it's tied with CG for #2 at WDW.

Well, the buildings kind of block it, and we could still see fireworks. But this would be the hardest to take, for sure.

What an idea! I would also crash every wedding, photobomb the wedding pictures, and make every convention *memorable* for the attendees.
I thought I was too lazy to search my response but I think this still stands. Especially now that V&A and 1900 PF have reopened.

The one difference is that we have now stayed at Aulani (in 2023) and an OV GV there may tie it. It may be a little disappointing to have fewer restaurants, but my 10 year old "picky" eater proved last December that she could eat a poke bowl every day and boogie board all day, and we all love Hawaii, so maybe we could suffer the GV. Watermelon Dole Whips, tropical drinks, Ama Ama and sunsets, snorkeling and paddle boarding, and a few outrigger canoe rides ... probably ok for hard time.
