So did anyone with an AAA package use the new code to save more?

I am confused if you can really save more if you already have the AAA discount. I booked the hopper and dining plan.

TIA

I saved about $100. We are staying at the WL for 4 nights on a package with Dining, then moving to the AKL for 3 nights room only.

It isn't a huge savings over AAA, but it is good for people who don't have AAA.

I have a package with dining booked thru AAA. After some bugging my TA, she finally got the code applied & saved me an additonal $90. It doesn't seem like much, but I wouldn't just throw out $90, and not taking advantage would be just that.

I will let you know today (hopefully). Never let a friend book your trip, even if he works for AAA.... :rotfl:

My AAA agent applied the code yesterday and saved me an additional $102.

I saved $200 and got the added plus feature. (That was for two rooms at the CR though).

So you all are talking about applying the new [] codes to existing AAA packages? I assume you lose the AAA discount, but the [] codes were a better deal anyway, is that right?

Thanks :flower:

Yes, you replace one discount with the other...there is NO stacking of codes/discounts.

It seems that once the AAA glitch was taken care of, most are saving a few extra $

What was the glitch? Were they not allowing existing AA packages to apply the new code?

Is there still a chance that a different AAA special will come out today?

I'm on the fence between booking a [] package vs getting a AAA package quote, but it sounds like I'd be better off with the [] from what everyone has said, is that right?

Thanks again! ::MickeyMo

I'm not an expert when it comes to codes/discounts - but I think that I got an additional discount on top of my AAA package discount.

I am pretty sure that is not possible. Disney doesn't allow code stacking. I think the new code just beat AAA by a tad.

I am trying not to get too excited, but my friend just called (AAA, I used to work there, so he's not really my TA ;) ) HE ROCKS!!

My package was

5 nights POP
4 day non hoppers
Dining

$1135

NOW
5 nights POP
4 day PH w/water park option
DINING

$762!!!!

OMG. I asked him a hundred times, does that include dining and he said the disney rep assured him it did. He is going to fax me the confirmation from Disney as soon as he gets it and I will update this post. That is awesome!

WOW!!! Can you tell me what code you used to get this rate????
If it is not a public code, please pm it to me. I assume that this rate is for two adults, no kids???
Thanks

Let me email my ta and see if he has it.

Sorry, didn't know I couldn't post the code. I removed it. I think it is just general through AAA. It wasn't attached to my name or anything.

And yes, that is just 2 adults. Standard view (obviously). I am so nervous he got it wrong. But if you add dining to the price he gave me, it just will go back to the original price. Hmmm...

Nope, He said he might not get the confirmation until tomorrow :( I promise I will post as soon as I know.

That really equals out almost to free dining :)

Ok, it has to be wrong. He just sent me the email and flyer that Disney sent him and it states:

6 nights/7days
standar room and ticket
+park hopper and water park +

From $433 per person.

I am only staying 5 nights, but that still doesn't make the difference.

I think that's the same as the general code...darn!

He just got the fax and NO DINING. He is calling right now to see what he can do. Looks like no discount for me :guilty:
