I'd be surprised if he survives a year in prison - 3 years might as well be a life sentence for him.

I admit that this is the one thing I'm most curious about, whether or not he'll die in prison. I guess he can still afford the best legal team so he might somehow get a reduction in sentence based on health issues. It will just be interesting to see how his story ends.

I also read recently that the Cosby's are selling a house in CA, some of Camille's art collection and other possessions to help pay their legal expenses.

I wouldn't expect that he would be anything but a model prisoner and get supervised release after the minimum 3 years. As an example, OJ Simpson was a model prisoner and basically got out on based on his initial eligibility for parole.

That doesn't make that much sense that it's being reported he'll owe them money. He's still got a net worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars. He may be on the hook for several civil cases, but I don't think his money is tied up in liens yet.

It isn't tied up yet but that was the report I heard. Of course I didn't pay a lot of attention to it. He is going to owe court costs and I heard the prosecution fees.

For this case, he owes the state of PA 25K plus prosecution costs:

"He also was ordered to pay a fine of $25,000 plus the costs of prosecution as part of the sentence."

I wouldn't be surprised if the cost of the prosecution is between 100 and 200K for this trial; not sure if they can legally charge him for the hung jury proceeding.

Thanks for that. Since I live in Philly this has been the news stories since Monday. I stopped watching the news because I am tired of it all.
