I have to take an emergency business trip to Orlando tomorrow, one night only. So frustrating to be so close. I doubt I will have time to see the Mouse, but just in case the annual pass is in my wallet. Oh I hope I have a few hours to sneak off to WDW pixiedust:

Good luck. I know that feeling though...it's like just a litttttttle more, enjoy the trip though asmuch as possible

THAT would be SO hard!!! In 1999 I went to the Florida Keys to pick up my sister and her husband who had been living down there since 1996 (very long story). Anyway, we ended up STAYING in Orlando one night and we were RIGHT THERE, but no one wanted to go to WDW but me. THAT was awful!! We didn't go--I was sad.

I think I would have to become suddenly "ill" and not be able to keep the business appointment :teeth: but you do what you think is right :teeth:

I was there in Feb for a several day business trip... we got out of our meetings early so I went to Epcot for the evening, then the next day everyone flew out at 10am, I went to MK & flew out at 5pm instead :)

Where there is a will there is a way!!!!

If nothing else you'll be able to soak up some of the great weather we're having. :sunny:

Unfortunately my boss knows that I love WDW and would immedidately suspect something :p

I hope we can wrap things up early enough tomorrow that I can at least sneak off to Epcot for a few hours and maybe catch Illuminations.

OK, how 'bout this.....I hear that airlines sometimes overbook flights, what if you were one of those unfortunate souls that get bumped from your flight and HAVE to spend an extra night and day in Orlando before you get a flight out? :teeth: I feel your pain, that would make me nuts

Quadrangle Blvd,near the University

I just checked the WDW website and there is MVMCP tomorrow night. HMMMM, I wonder if it is sold out??????

I'm assuming you'll have a car. That would be a good $60 cab ride, more if you get stuck in traffic. Take the Greenway, avoid I-4. And that's all I"m sayin.

LOL, yes, I definately have a car. My boss offered to pay for cabs so I wouldn't have to drive, but I said no way, get me a car. Just in case of an emergency, you never know....

You better get some sleep--it could be a late night tomorrow night... ;) :thumbsup2

You MUST go.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you make it. Do a quick run to MGM to see the lights and then off to EPCOT to see Illuminations.

While on the way to Epcot stop at Boardwalk for a quick supper ask to sit at the bar at the Flying Fish Cafe. There's always room for 1.

Anything else you'd like me to plan for you.

Let us know if you made it!

Awww... you're being tortured by your boss! Knowing that you love WDW.. how could he do that to you?! Geeezz.. and it's so close to Christmas, he could just let you have the following day off just to be nice.

Anyways.. I hope that you will get off early from the meeting and see Mickey. If not, then maybe you can at least have dinner at CF and see Mickey and his friends.

Well, I am happy to say I got to spend a few hours at Epcot tonight and it was pretty crowded. Even SSE had a line. I wasn't there for the rides, but to get my Disney fix and I got to see some of the decorations. It really puts you in the holiday mood seeing the decorations and hearing the music. I see they are having problems again at the entrance. Very few turnstiles opened causing a bit of a jam and when I scanned my AP, I went to scan my finger and the CM just waved me through without it.
Glad to have an AP this year, it was a nice treat to get an unexpected use out of it.
