I'll be there during Halloween, I can't wait to take pictures of all the Halloween decorated desserts!!

I'll also be the person taking the picture at the airport when we leave, airport when we land, fake monorail at airport, ME bus before we get on, ME while we are on, arriving at hotel....you get it!

DH and I went for a few nights getaway to Disneyland without the kids. We facetimed them with the iPad from in front of the bakery window. We turned the screen so they could watch the decorator work. The CM looked up and saw our kids and went nuts, she was waving at them and calling over all the other CMs to show them the smiling kids on the computer screen watching them work. So, yes, I would say 'I'm one of THOSE people'

This is me! On our last trip I added over 5k clicks to my camera shutter count. We were only in the parks for four days and I didn't even have my camera with me the whole time. But in my defense it was my youngest son's first trip. He will be our last kiddo, so it was the last time I got to photograph a "first timer" taking it all in. Disney has so many details that are fun to photograph. I also usually get bored on our drive and wind up getting out the camera to occupy myself.

Just thought I'd add something to this thread in case anyone sees it and isn't aware, because I looked forever and finally found it!

If you own a dslr camera (i know it's easy to find for most, but not for the nikon d5100 - found it on amazon finally) get yourself a battery grip that holds AA's. Ill be there for the 24-hr event and even on regular days, i know i wont stop shooting. My son's 3rd bday and first trip to disney so i know that'll come in handy instead of worrying whether my backups will be enough and how many should i have. I can just take a big bunch of AA's and know im good when my nikon batteries die

I AM and WILL be THAT person. Food, walls, furniture, rides, everything, and of course the munchkin! Haha

We've been on countless trips and I always take countless pictures. There's no telling how many pics we have of the signs going in, the entrances, the rides I've videotaped over and over. I have at one time or another photographed every inch of the park. I could just stay home and look at the pics but I know I'll be back and I'll still be taking pics. If our long planned move there ever comes to fruition maybe I'll take a few less but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

It's not me, its the phone. It makes me. Last fall we went for 10 days; my wife and I, and on a separate reservation, my two grown kids. Between the small digital camera, my phone, my wife's phone, and my daughter's phone we took...

wait for it...

Over 4,000 photos. Yup. And most of those were mine. My son sat down and went through them and quickly threw away all the obviously bad ones. That took care of over 2,500. Then we chose from the other 1,500.

I know. I know. But I did get about 20 really great shots!!

That would be me too. But then again, I take lots of pictures daily. I don't want to miss anything and love looking back remembering. Some of my favorite pictures of my son are the ones where he isn't even aware that I am taking his picture. We love in a world that we are always on the go that it does me good to slow down and take pics.

~LOL! Not even if I tried! I want to be one of those people but I just don't have the patience. I have nothing but respect for the picture takers as long as they are not rude about it and hold up the line for everyone else.

I wouldn't take them while in line at the candy store or bakery, just while I'm wandering through the store. If I'm in a ride queue and it's moving, I'll just let people pass me by.

Since we usually go around Christmas time, I always take pictures of the shops front window displays on Main Street in MK. They had a Mickey's Christmas Carol display last trip.

Oh I am guilty, too. And we take pics of weird things... like other people taking pics, lol. JK. Seriously, in all the years I have been, I can honestly say I do not have even one decent photo of Fantasmic. They never turn out. And just like the OP, I am also guilty of taking food photos.

This will be ME for 2 1/2 weeks up there! I'm going to scrapbook it all!!!!
