That is what someone here told me yesterday. So sad. Can't believe they would get rid of them for the Muppets. October 1st was their last appearance in MK.

Our family prefers Chip and Dale but I am surprised by this move. We never went to the Woody and Jessie M&G since my kids have no interest in Toy Story and its characters but they were a perfect fit for the area and the M&G always looked very busy to me.

When they were by Splash Mountain it was always so much fun to wave and yell at them from the WDW Railroad!

They would always look up at the train and wave.

This is a shame, as it was the only place DD was able to meet Jessie, and our cousins are there now, and I was going to tell them to look for them there. I guess they would meet in Toy Story Land at DHS eventually, but since that is a long way off, hopefully they will find a new spot for Jessie.

I read about this last night and I am so disappointed. It's certainly not going to ruin our trip, but my toddler was SO excited to meet Jessie, she loves her. She talks about it every day. My husband started planting the idea in her head that sometimes the characters need to take a vacation too, so some might not be there when we go. She wasn't buying it.
They announced the cancellation of the Electrical parade a week after we booked our trip and changed our dates to make sure we were able to see it, so I have pretty much had it with changes like this. But I guess that's how it goes.
