So...Are Summer Codes Not Coming?

1st - Mods, please move to the "codes and rates" subsection if you see fit.

Now, onto the question.

We already have reservations at POR in June, but we were kinda hoping to upgrade to AKL. Should we just assume that there aren't going to be any summer rates released? Or, historically, is it still too soon for these summer rates to be released.

I would stick with whatever you can afford now, without a discount.

It seems like AP codes for June have usually been released by now. That doesn't mean there won't be something, but it's getting a little more doubtful each day.

I'm also going to POR in June, we're in the same boat as far as AP codes. Oh well, I really hope there is one but I gotta say I'm getting a little pessimistic. Have a great trip anyway!

The June codes are usually out by now. My opinion, June is getting skipped over.

When will you guys be at POR...we are there from June 14 - 25.

Go read the extensive thread...June/July/Aug code watch! We've been discussing this very thing for weeks now!!!
And we're all AP holders and still waiting. Many of us are going in June and completely BAFFLED that they haven't put out codes yet!!!!!!!!!

Yeah...I'm not a frequent poster on the hotel boards and as soon as I posted my thread, I saw the June/July/Aug code thread. Oh, well. At least our family's not alone in this boat.

I'm in the same boat. Reservations at POFQ, June 10th - 18th, but will upgrade to AKL Pool View if APs come out. I already have the AP vouchers because we will go again at Christmas and then in June 2007 before the passes run out.

We're going 5/16-5/23. We wanted to change our trip to June so I have been hoping and wishing for a code. I also have a CM friend who sometimes is successful in getting me her Second Bedroom Discount...it's typically 40%. Well, she checked the last two weeks of June for me. The only resort she could get for me was Animal Kingdom Lodge @ $199. Which is good. But, we've decided to stick with the May trip. We got an AP discount of $119 for POR.

I'm thinking if resorts are booked as they seem to be, we can forget discounts this summer, particularly in June. I hope I'm wrong!!

I'm glad you posted this. I was ready to ask our friends that work at WDW, but I don't like to ask. I won't bother. We are staying at AKL, but I'll just pay rack rate if need be. I hate to ask people for favors.
