Oh Starann, I'm sorry. We had bad winds here too - some huge pine trees were uprooted just a couple blocks from me. Makes me glad I cut down the spruce tree in front of my house. I hope you get the repairs done quickly.

I'm sorry to hear this. I bet you're glad to have insurance now, huh?

This is exactly why we have to burn down all the rainforests!

If a tree had a chance to destroy you, don't you think it would do it?

The insurance adjuster can't come out until next week sometime, but we did get permission from the insurance company to have the tree removed from our kitchen roof. Thank goodness we did...we discovered more damage that couldn't be seen with the tree there. We have $1000 deductible and it is $900 for the tree removal...

The sad/funny thing is we need a new roof.......just not on the kitchen, on the rest of the house....this darn tree couldn't have fallen 5ft to the left...then we'd be getting our new roof....but I'm not that lucky to have a tree fall on my house in the 'right' spot!!!

Lets see what can happen next week..shall we?
