Snowglobes

Just a quick question has anyone returned lately and brought a globe home because i was wondering do they still have to go in the hold or would they be okay in my cabin baggage?

Also can anyone recommend any restaurants that accept travellers cheques because the golden corral have stop accepting them, we used one here in the mornings to give us enough cash for a day or so. Any ideas where still accepts travellers cheques or where we could cash them?

Snowglobes have to go in the hold, get them wraped very well by Disney and then wrap them in your clothes, I have brought them back this way without them breaking.

in October I used t/c at TGI, Bahama Breeze, WDW & a couple of the restaurants in Celebration.

Definately in your hold luggage, I made the mistake this year of putting it in my hand luggage. When going through customs at MCO I was stopped and asked if I had left my bag unattended (I was terrified). Apparently when it was going throught the x-ray machine they could see something with liquid in it. I had all my liquid items in a clear bag which had already gone through. When they went through my bag they discovered it was the snow globe that I had brought at MK that day. The gentleman was very nice and explained to me that I should either of packed it in my case or put it in a clear plastic bag so they could see it. At least they didn't conviscate it, but everytime I look at it I think of the customs man at the airport

We were there in August and on the shelves that they display the snowglobes, it explains that they must go in the hold. As been said above, explain to cast member and they will wrap them with bubble wrap etc..ours didn,t break!!

my new one had to go in the suitcase last Friday, thanks to goodness it got home in one piece

We go to DLP for snowglobes. My wife has got 19 of the big ones and 2 medium ones.
