3 WEEKS

Well....we are busy with stuff for our business today, then church and dinner with friends tomorrow...after that the planning and packing might begin!! Tues I have a Drs appt, Wed I get my hair cut/highlighted...all week, the next weekend looks a little better...my kids said that they didn't want to Trick or Treat this year...so maybe we will just give out candy Our church sponsors a Trunk or Treat, but they really didn't want to do that either...guess with Disney looming ahead trick or treat is taking a backseat
The next week will be spent getting things ready around the house..mow the yard hopefully for the last time...close up the pool....plant some fall stuff(we got some pansys,and snapdragons, and mums yesterday).So..we have pleeeenty to keep us busy!! Hope you are all enjoying a great weekend!!!

My DS is 17 and thought he might go trick or treating We advised him that a better choice would be to stay home and hand out the candy!!!

I went Trick or Treating when I was 18...

Ok...soo my sister and I dressed up all cute and only went to like 3 houses, because we specifically wanted certain boys to see us.

I think the last time I went for real was when I was around 15.

Okay so I forgot. Shelly goes in 2 weeks and Shawna in 3. Are you guys going to cross paths? I have a vague recollection of someone mentioning it but...

No planting going on here. It's finally cooling down to normal fall temps. We've had a really warm October. Of course, it will get cold for Halloween! Jeez.
I survived my busy week at work, so now I have to catch up on all my "other" work! Doing lots of and I have to make some dessert for dinner tonight with my parents and some relatives from out of town. I think Apple Crisp sounds good with some vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce! Very fall like!

DH and I sat down last night reviewing DVC point charts (AGAIN!). We might try for a couple days at Hilton Head in July and then try for BCV or BWV during October break for Food and Wine and MNSSHP. I sure hope that airfares in October are good!!

Yep! Shawna arrives on Saturday the 13th, which is our last full day. So we are going to try to meet up sometime that day!

Hello Ladies!

I'm back! and officially a snowbird for 2011! Yes just finished booking all my ADRs!
Hard to believe, we cancelled our October 2010 trip, we'd be returning home in a few days, and now we've booked for January!
How did we make it happen? 1. we chose a moderate (instead of deluxe) 2. we got free dining 3. my mom is coming with us again , after the fuzy disney math, we can afford to go!

Where we have booked...
Jan 22-29
CBR
Regular Dining

The family's only request for restaurants was "anything new". I was not able to secure a Le Cellier ADR, all booked up all week. And some restaurants we don;t want to return to... it is alot easier selecting only 1 TS a day! We've done the deluxe dining our last 2 trips.

You see... I needed a vacation... I wanted a beach, lounge chair, warm ocean and a good book. everyone else wanted WDW. So this trip we booked CBR, and it HAS to be RELAXING!

I have planned the itinerary and booked everything tonight, and I don't want any changes.

So that is good news!

DD doesn't know yet, I don;t think I can keep this trip a secret!

Hey Snowbird Friends!!!

Oh My Gosh - I have so much to catch up on!!! I am so excited for all y'all that have trips coming up real soon!!!

I have been so incredible busy the last few weeks that I just don't seem to have the time to catch up much anymore! I am practically working full time now! I am doing childcare every week day now for 3 different families and I am one busy lady!!!

It is VERY good because we will be able to have our little debt paid off by Christmas and start saving for our August 2011 WDW trip!!!!!

I sat down to crunch some numbers this weekend and I think I have a bit of a plan forming!! Ken seemed to think it was a good one so there might just be a phone call to WDW reservations happening sometime later this week!!! I may just be able to make up a ticker too!!!

The little girl I take care of on M/W/F will be here momentairly so I gotta get my patootie in gear!!! Have a GREAT day all my Birdie friends!!!!! Love and Hugs to all!! Miss chattin with y'all!!!

Shelly its too early to pack..... Truth be told I did by some tooth paste the other day to take and put it on the guest room bed where I will put our luggage when we start to pack... so its official... I have something for the trip!!!!

I'M PREGNANT!!!!

We found out just a few days before we left for Disney last month. I went to my first doctor appt yesterday and we found out the due date: May 27, 2011. Tony & I are going to a wedding tonight for a former teammate of mine and a ton of my friends are going to be there. We can't wait to tell them tonight!!!! So please, no messages on FB until tomorrow.

Congratulations Meghan!!!!!! I'll bet Maddie is thrilled!!!!!

Wow you are one busy lady! I'm taking on daycare kiddo #6 in January and he or she (mom is due on Thanksgiving) will be my Disney fund baby LOL. I don't mind working hard if the fruits of my labor go towards Disney!

I am in a disney funk, excited but stressed, there really was no plan to go, especially after we had to cancel our trip
I truly hope I can go to WDW and relax, it is so emotional for me, and we're busy busy busy, I like to be busy, but I also need the down time.

Well, I have a bit of news. We have decided to postpone our Europe trip for a year. I want to save more money because it will cost more than I really expected.

But we have booked our first DVC stay!!!!
We are going to drive (yup) to FL and visit SIL in Ft. Myers, and then go to WDW from 3/14- 3/18 staying in a studio at AKL (Jambo) w/ savannah view!!

Now we just have to figure out our ticket plans. Might do a 10 day no exp. Might do AP if we think we'll go back within a year. Might get one AP ... WHO KNOWS!!

Great news about the DVC stay - we loved AKL even with a pool view! Remember that you also get the DVC price on the AP - it's about $100 less than regular. And then you can also get the TiW card, which is my FAV!

So sorry about your trip to Europe, though. I understand about the costs. And I apologize, but I'm just so darned excited

I'm going to London!


I've wanted to go to England forever, and in May, due in part to British Airways' strike, I got a $275 credit with them. Then they announced their sale, and I convinced a friend, so we're doing a long weekend in March! It's probably the most spontaneous trip I've ever booked - it took less than 6 days to decide! I never do that!
