Kim...I will be praying for you today-and that the mole is not serious! I am not going to church either:scared1: I feel like a reprobate!! Ha!! I have missed more church the last few weeks than ever! Last week it was my neck & shoulder/sinus crud...got RXs and feel soooo much better!! Now my middle one has been feeling weird this weekend and woke up with diarrhea!!! YIKES!! I am hoping it's just sinus drainage and not a bug!!! Hope your crew gets well and you are finished with the sickies!! glad you found 2 minutes to hop on and say hi!!!!

Since I am home this morning, I guess I will try to tackle my mountain of:laundy: that has piled up since I was under the weather. And make a grocery list for the week-I like to make one trip a week and have meals planned--*like* being the key word! Some times it happens, sometimes it doesn't.....then I have to get all my ducks in a row for 6 a.m.-ADR DAY!!!!
After that I am done planning!!! I will just check park days for any major changes here and there, then that's it......
We have been out of school for 3 weeks and I have not been able to enjoy it at all with my crazy pain! So...this weekend is dds ballet recital then we are just doing nothing!!!!!
Hope all the Snowbirds had a great weekend!! TTFN!!!

Good morning Shawna and Kim! Count me in as another bad girl skipping Church this morning. :guilty: And no one here is even sick. We have just been so crazy busy that we just needed a little break this morning.

I will be praying that your results come back good Kim. And that your DH and kids will be feeling better soon too! Your family sure has been through a lot lately.

I hope your DS will be feeling better soon Shawna. You need to get all ready for your big day tomorrow morning!! :goodvibes

I think we are just going to take it easy and do a few things around the house today until soccer later this afternoon.

Shelly...I have been planning like mad this morning while the rest of the fam is at church!! I have to do it behind their backs pretty much!! Ha!! I did tell all the plans to ds11!! he is good about knowing ahead of time and not driving me nuts!! He doesn't mind the wait,,,,it's the older one who just can't stand it!! He helped me change a few days around! He really wants to do AK one morning, so we will do that and then the Christmas Party....if we do it...if not, it'll be a swim evening!! It helps me to talk out loud while I plan...so since it's just me and him I can mutter all I want to!! Ha!!!
SO,....I got the days lined up, rest.s listed with page numbers,..the on-line ressie page marked in my fav list....and ready for 6 in the morning!!!! Hopefully it'll be smooth and no computer glitches!!!
I agree that some times Sundays just need to be a recoup day!! I have some friends down here that started a new church and they meet on Sat evenings..like 6 or so....I really like that the more I think about it...you are already up and about, then just could have Sunday for a whole family day!! Or just slllleeeeeeeeeppp!!!
Ok...well, gotta go fold a load!!! And now my next project for the day...GROCERY LIST/MENU....so daunting...it's easier to plan for disney!!!!!

Well dang Sarah!!!! I hope it's not serious enought that y'all have to cancel!!! YIKES!!!!! Maybe he just sprained it or something & a few days off it will help...keep me posted!!!!
I dream about my trips before I go every time--usually that it's like Friday evening and we haven't done any rides ,,I guess we have slept the whole week or something!!!! Drives me nuts...or that we get to the plane and have not paperwork and can't find anything for traveling!! I guess it'll be sleeping meds for me right before we go!! LOL...anything to stop the dreams!!! LOL

I'm the queen of anxiety dreams, of all the people I know! I've had so many goofy ones about this trip. Like my husband not bothering to pack and we miss our flight.

(I suspect soon that I'll start angsting about the volcano and how that could impact travel!)

My favorite pre-wedding anxiety dream was that I forgot to shave. When I realized that was the entire dream, it really put them into perspective for how silly my dreams can be!!

Sarah- Dreaming about travel pillows- too funny! :laughing:Hope DH's foot heals quickly and none of your plans have to change! :headache: How's it feeling today?

He's not feeling ANY better. I made him spend most of the day with his foot elevated (oh, to be so healthy that I don't know to do that) and it definitely helped. I can see the swelling on the top of his foot, so it's definitely SOMETHING.

I was really REALLY frustrated last night and earlier because
-he's been hurting, some, for a few weeks, but didn't listen to his body
-he's been freaking out about not being able to run, when I've been freaking out about our trip and I wish he would, too. But he's a practical guy and figures things will be good enough by then. :scared:

We're going to the urgent care/walk-in tomorrow morning, first thing. He said I didn't have to go, but, let's face it, the problem is more likely to be resolved to my satisfaction with me being there. ;) Plus, since it's on campus and we work on campus, there's no such thing as convenient parking. Rather than make him walk, I'll be able to drop him off, park the car ... and then pick him up at the end. Plus, he's done SO much for me with my knee surgery and then my stress fracture! I suppose it's what 10 years of marriage gets you, huh? :)

Sarah - I can't imagine having to cancel at this point! I'm not overdoing ANYTHING! I made my boss climb up and down the ladder all day because knowing my luck I'd fall off the stupid thing. Here's hoping it's absolutely nothing...

Thank you!!! I'm also in the "must get healthy" and "but can't hurt myself" camp. That's made harder by the fact that we're still dealing with some issues from surgery and I can't get in to see a specialist until June 7th. Oof!

It's been a while since I've had time to DIS. *snip*

:hug::grouphug::grouphug: You're in my thoughts!!

Sarah that wedding dream is so funny! that is the kind of stuff I dream!! Ha!!!! My dreams are all like watching movies...full color and everything...Mike never has dreams, or can't remember them. I swear, some days I wake up tired from all the running around I do in my sleep!:rotfl:

Kim, :grouphug: Praying for good news for you.

Wendy, what a handsome young man! And feel free to brag on him all you want. He sounds like a great son.

Sarah, I hope DH's foot is OK! :scared: You HAVE to go on your cruise...so you can tell us all about it!

Shawna, isn't today your ADR day? How did it go? :cheer2:

MY GOSH!!! 10 weeks is a long time. That must be difficult to say the least! I'm glad he gets to do things that he'd miss, but I bet he'd rather do them with you and the kids! Here's a hug just because!

Aw, thanks, Sheree, I really needed that today. Most of the time it's been OK, but for some reason today I'm having a really tough time. :sad2:

Pluto fan~ You are correct!! I did get up for ADRs this morning...or should I say, I stayed up most of the night! I couldn't sleep for anything....kept thinking I would oversleep I guess....anywho...I got (&in no particular order):
Le Cellier
Rose & Crown
Nine Dragons
Garden Grill
50s Prime Time
The Plaza
The Captains Grill (at the YC)... I have this one for the day we are hoping to do the Christmas party...if we do it..if not we can rearrange...I just thought it would be easier to get a Resort place than somewhere in the park with everyone else!! So...I was rreeeaaaal tired this morning..had to take a nappy!!! So...It's now time for me to not plan ANYTHING!! I printed out Nov hours, and I will check them periodically, but I really like the way the plans worked out...I will keep checking closer to travel time on the weather, but I am pretty sure we will make it to MVMCP!!:santa:
Got most of my kids school books/curricula ordered for next year...so now we can just plan on cleaning out flower beds and swimming for the next 2 months!!!!! I need the rest!!!

Great ADR's Shawna! I know what you mean about no planning. Once FD came out and we got our MNSSHP tickets I have nothing else to do! It kind of stinks. We planned our Jan trip for a long time but I was still a little "clueless" when it came to really planning. We only had a few ADR's since we were staying offsite and we didn't have hoppers. All I had to do was plan out which park on what day and that was it. For our June trip, I only had 2 months to plan so I was always busy. I feel like I've been planning this trip forever but we still have 4 months to go!!! :scared1: I don't know what to do with myself. Thank goodness we have a very busy summer or I'd be so bored.

I hate the dreams where I was mad at someone and... wake up mad. Not the most glorious start to the day!! My dreams are generally pretty bizarre, though they made sense while I was having them!

Sarah, I hope DH's foot is OK! :scared: You HAVE to go on your cruise...so you can tell us all about it!

So, yeah, I overreacted. A bit. ;) The physician's assistant that we saw today said we could go to Europe tomorrow, for all the difference it makes. DH shouldn't run and should perhaps opt to not walk 10 miles in a given day.

He does have a stress fracture. The PA gave him the same lecture I did, but got to add on "and that's what you get for ignoring your body's warning signs! You're going to pay dearly. No running for 6-12 weeks." Ouch!!

He put him in one of those walking boot/cast things and told him to come back next Wednesday. If he's feeling better, he'll be out of the boot and back in to sneakers... just no running. Whew!

Now I have to hope he doesn't make me crazy. And - unintended bonus - we now have less stuff to pack for the cruise! No extra pair of running sneakers. And you know how much space guy's shoes take up!

Okay, snowbirdies, I've been off the DIS for a couple days and you've been chatty!!
Kim - hope you get some good news and you don't get sick too!
Shawna - great ADRs - we're trying Captains Grill this trip too!
Sarah - good (sort of) news about the stress fracture - keep him off his feet some so he doesn't do more damage!!!
I had a great weekend, just busy enough and fun. Thought I'd have a super busy week at work, but found out last night that my boss had an unexpected death in the family and is going to be gone most of the week. So I hustled around today rearranging things, and now can sit and relax a minute.
Tonight is DD9's first softball game of the season. The first two were cancelled, so this should be interesting.
We're set to have some great weather this week, so I am hoping that by the weekend we will have the hot tub up and running. We worked on it (and I planted flowers) this weekend. Other than that, it's business as usual.
Hopefully I'll post on my PTR some this week too. Lots of thoughts swirling around in my head.

Sarah...glad to hear the news!! Maybe he will listen to the "professional"!! And yeah..I bet those shoes take up lots of luggage!

Then I think you need a flower too...:flower3:

Aww, thanks! Snowbirds are the best! :goodvibes I'm feeling better today.

Shawna, your ADRs sound great! :woohoo:
Sarah, glad to hear your DH's foot will be OK for your trip! :thumbsup2 My dad and stepmother were just visiting and I was in charge of sightseeing while they were here--Dad's request was "minimal walking". Um...there's not much you can see in Europe that doesn't require much walking! :upsidedow
Sheree, when's the Snowbird hot tub party? :sunny:

Sarah.... glad DH is going to be okay and that your trip is a go.... men... they never listen..lol....

Shawna... your ADRs look great.... I have to get our MVMCP tickets yet but other than that we can't do anything until Magie checks into the college program and sees what kind of discount she can get us... for now we have a reservation at YC and SOG...

So I was thinking we should start packing for our trip next week... problem is that Maggie came home from college with about 5 times more than she left with and it is all over my house.... the child has TOO MUCH STUFF!!!!! Gotta get her organized first... then we can pack.... I think we are going to pay to check a few bags (Flying Airtran) and bring with us things like her bedding that we can leave with my sister... less we have to bring in August and more room in the car....

Hey, if they'd taken a cruise, they could have taken bus tours everywhere. A lot of the tours would read "drive by *giant historic monument*". Not even time for pictures of exploration or or !

Sarah.... glad DH is going to be okay and that your trip is a go.... men... they never listen..lol....

True!! They never do! He was NOT expecting the physician's assistant to chew him out so thoroughly. I was pretty pleased with that, though. The only temporary bummer is that I'm going to have to start taking my daily walks without him! Rats!

I think many of you would understand - I've started putting pressure on for a February trip somewhere warm. He's a little resistent, so I've actually busted out the spreadsheets showing the cost by day and projected airfare so he can see that it's NOT really that expensive! Keep your fingers crossed that he caves! ;)

My brother and his wife have an ultrasound (well, I suppose she does and he's just there) on Friday, hopefully to determine if they're having a boy or a girl. I can't WAIT to find out. I don't care which, but I'm dying to know so I can start knitting and buying stuff! I love being an aunt! :)

Sarah~ Let us know what the baby is!! How fun for you!! And how nice to have special,hand-made gifts from family!!!

Aww, thanks! Snowbirds are the best! :goodvibes I'm feeling better today.

Sheree, when's the Snowbird hot tub party? :sunny:

It is ON and heating up RIGHT NOW!!!! Last check it was up to 75 degrees. I'm thinking tomorrow night I will plant my rear firmly in it!! Come on over snowbirds!!! The kids got in it and used it as a pool this afternoon. The water was COLD!
