Wendy, I am green (like a LGMH!) with envy!

Aargh, I need to stop browsing the discount cruise websites. Disney has a great military discount on a 10-night and an 11-night Mediterranean cruise...late this August. After the boys start school. That's not a good enough reason to start homeschooling, is it?

I totally support this idea!!!

Shawna- I love my chiro. He actually has the nickname Dr Magic Hands from my family. Right now I'm going once every 2 weeks. It's been working well.
I can't believe how close I'm getting to my trip...it's crazy! Does anyone want anything from Hawaii? Little things that you collect from all over? I have to get postcards for my friend and a keychain. Just let me know...and before you say it....no, I repeat, no there will be no room in my luggage for a person! (trust me, many have already tried!)

I want to go back to Hawaii! We went on our honeymoon 13 years ago. You'll have to tell us how you liked cruising the islands. I think I'd like that!!!

I have been thinking so much about planning my upcoming trip - less than 10 weeks away! I really have to focus on the stuff going on here first! We have about three weeks left of school and a gymnastic "show" (don't know why they do that, but oh well) and dance recitals at the beginning of June. Then a girls only camping trip with my two girlfriends and one child and my girls, then hopefully a DISvisit with Kim (NDG), a couple of softball tournaments and about 10 games, and a girl scout camping trip before our WDW vacation. Gee, that sounds like a lot.

Shawna - I'm so glad you found some relief! I have considered chiro for my stiff neck, but I'm fairly certain it's muscular and stress related. Not sure chiro would do much for me. I love getting massages though. Just wish I had about an extra $100 every two weeks to get one! I think I'll reward myself when I reach a goal in my weight loss.

Plutofan - you're not the only one scoping out cruises and vacations!! DH and I both look a lot. He would love to do the Med, but I don't think it will happen for a while. Now he's planning next spring break in March - maybe a driving trip to FL, 4 day Disney cruise and go to Disney Hilton Head. I'm sure that will be low budget! I told him we still have to have some money for Europe in the summer! We'll be eating Ramen for months! LOL!

Today (after work - us realtors always work on Sunday's) I WILL get the suitcases out and beign to pack for our trip on Thursday... yes this Thursday... the children think we can just "throw some stuff in a bag" on Wednesday.... what is WRONG with them... have I taught them nothing.....

Hey girls! we were on the 5th page here!!! Have to bump us up!! I was going to share a few pictures with you...first my Gucci that Mike brought me from NYC!!!!

DD had her ballet recital and dress rehearsal Friday and Saturday night..got some cute action shots...their song was called Heaven In My Heart...very sweet!

This is the whole family...even Nana!!! LOL

So...it was a long weekend and Sunday afternoon she and I had to take loooong naps!! We were wasted!!! She did really well on both nights...she is just a very graceful little ballerina and her teacher is moving her up...she said she probably should have been moved up this year...but that's okay!! She makes up dances all day long!! It's really sweet!

So I woke up this morning with a sore throat. Work had this terrible bug going around a couple months ago and I thought I made it through. However it seems like some greater power is laughing at me. This truly was my first winter without a major - I-feel-like-I'm-on-my-death-bed cold/flu. So naturally when I'm a month away from a trip that I'm pretty sure I'll never take again, I'd get sick. So I'm going to attempt to sleep as much as I can, it's supposed to be gorgeous this week here - so that means lots of Vitamin D, and I'll stock up on my other vitamins!

Ugh...I will not be sick for this trip !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Shelly!!! NO...do NOT be sick! Do you ever drink hot tea...or herbal Echinachea tea? I did that winter before last every time I felt it coming on and it really helped...of course, I had to put honey in it just to stand it....I am not a hot drink girl.....Saline nasal spray too...keep those sinuses open!!! Are you getting excited!!!!!?????

Shawna - Your family is just sooo cool! Y'all look so totally related! So is that your mom or Mike's? I can't believe how big your boys are getting!! Mr. S looks like such a big boy - he really is filling out into a young man! A beautiful family! Little miss G is such a sweetie- a beautiful ballerina!

I know..we do don't we!! Ha!!!! That is my mom...sometimes when we go places, people will say 'you and your sister'....uh...I dont have a sister-that's my mother! she loves it..sometimes it makes me feel funny! When I had ds11, the nurse came in to take his vitals,..when she was finished she picked him up and said "Ok! Go back to Auntie!!" ...I said "Shes not Auntie...She's NANA!".She thought that was just hysterical!
S is growing for sure!! He is soooo Happy that he is taller than me,...he can officially say 'my little mama'...cracks himself up he does!! He really is a good kid....he goes to youth camp in a few weeks he is all pumped about that...they get to stay in hotels!! No tents or cabins for this generation! LOL
DS11 is gonna catch me before long! He is hitting the stage where he is starting to pack on some weight...won't be long till he hits the growth spurts and grows right past me too!! Still a Lego maniac...going to church camp in July---I wonder if they are doing cabins? Gotta find out....they are both really excited about it...
And then sister....she is a hoot! She thinks she is their mother! Gotta keep a reign on that sisterly love...kinda comes out as bossy britches sometimes!!

Hey Shawna - cute bag! Gracie looks so pretty! Good form too. Paige has a similar dress for her ballet number - the skirt is long and flowing like that.

Awesome! I hope the crowds are as low or lower than last November!!

I wonder how they have the OL date listed when Disney doesn't yet. . . I have heard the 8th and now the 10th. . . Last time I called WDW they had no idea. . . The 10th would be great. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Oh,Shelly, are you doing any of those Disney family t-shirts, or making your boys match? I want to do at least one cute t shirt...but my boys do NOT want to match!! I hate that!!! Maybe me and dd will match....they closed our local Disney store a few years back and the closest ones are in Houston...where I hate shopping!! So...I may just start checking the Disney store online and see what I find! Oh, how I hope the crowds are low and the weather is warm!! I do NOT want to pack any cold weather clothes!!!!! I am sick of doing that....if I want cold I will go to Colorado or something! Not that I want it hot....I got that right here! Up in the 90s...yuck......well...we have all the hot summer to get through before I can even let my mind wander to our Nov vacation!!!! I will go crazy if I keep thinking about it..especially now that I made ADRs!!!! I had the nutty thought yesterday of changing a few totally irrational I know!!

I don't know. My boys still like to wear matching shirts occasionally. But DS11 is getting to the point where he doesn't want any new Disney shirts when we go to the Disney Store. So sad!

You might need to bring one pair of jeans and a light jacket, but that's about it for the cold weather clothes.

AWWWW!! Thanks! We get mixed answers all the time on who looks like who...I just say we all look alike and that covers it! Ha!!
Yep...the weather does give you brain fog..especially here!! summers are just yucky!! Unless we get a massive summer storm then we are all going out to eat and running around in it like maniace...we live for the breaks in weather!!!

Shawna.... your daughter looks so sweet.... gotta love dance recitals... Maggie started dancing when she was four and still dances in college... I think I have been to way to many recitals. What is great now is that the college program is all student run.. so the dances are a little different... it moves fast (unlike when she was little)... Last year at our yard sale we sold some of her old costumes... she was able to let go of about 40... she has been dancing for 17 years.. and has been doing at least 3 dances a year... at one point she when she was in high school she was in about 8 dances a year... we still have quite a selection of costumes... its fun to look back at them and she will remember some special memory about the dance or friends....

have FUN!!! Besides, it's Disney and Florida, it's not like you're going on a trip to the desert where you'll never be able to find what you need!

I'm starting to itch to go back. My TA suggested, via email, that we consider a 4 night cruise on the Disney Dream, since it's ABOUT the same cost as a 5 night Royal Caribbean trip. I'm kind of surprised that my husband didn't dismiss it out of hand!

Wendy!! You are making me nervous about that packing!!! And thank you---she is very sweet!!!I love her!! We keep the outfits for a while and she plays dress up in them!!! Then we give them to a friend who has a daughter that is just about2...the one she gave her before they could NOT get her to take off..she napped in it then wore it to Wal Mart!!! She was a chubby baby with a fat little belly...it was hysterical!!!!!!
Well, I have a chiro appt this morning..brining in ds11 for him to go over his xrays and adjust him...and look over ds14s spine...they check your kids for free...so I had staggered their appts.....they are getting three-for-one this morning! DD goes tomorrow...she said she didn't really need to go to that!!! ha!!! has been ignored for about 2 straight days, so that is beckoning me for sure...and just a little organizing this house all around....but I think I need to go to the landscape place too...got a few holes in the beds that need filling in...have my eye on a few new types of shrubs!!! One is soooo cool! It's a 'butterfly bush'-the flowers attract butterflies..but also look like one!! I tried to get a picture for you...but nothing would do a picture that I could link to...so here is a link to the page:
