Tell him it would really make your knee feel better if you had (insert your favorite cupcake flavor here). The last time I bought yarn, I couldn't even get my DH to come into the store with me.
It helps that the yarn store is next to a running store! He needed Gu (concentrated edible energy giving food stuff) so, you know, he was right there... and the store would be closed by the time I was out of physical therapy!

But no cupcakes, sadly. But, as the mantra goes "there will be more and it's not the last one on earth." (That's the question I ask myself when I look at treats to decide if I have to have it!)
Sooo now there's an actual action plan to get me walking again!

This weekend, I'm supposed to go ~100 feet without crutches - like around the house, out to the mailbox (assuming it's dry and stuff) - but use crutches for longer distances (shopping!). I have another physical therapy appointment on Tuesday. If all has gone well with the 100 feet suggestion, then we'll move up to about 500 yards. By the following week, the intent is to be completely crutchless (no cane, either)! Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease!!
Here's a little bit of Pixie Dust to help you along!!

That is so funny! I guess we're both making our rounds right now!
He said...yeah, we shoulda booked a bounce back! Ha!! I never thought he would have agreed so quick after a trip!!!! But, we do have some other places we are looking into....he has Knee Surgery Friday, so we will talk more seriously after we see how that goes...don't foresee any skiing with a knee recovery! They did say it was a quick and minimal procedure...he isn't even giving him crutches
Well,,, he will have the entire weekend to lay around and not be up walking on it...he did tell him he might want to use a cane.
