I hope everyone is having a great weekend. It's raining here and I love the rain.
What did I do tonight? I tried to kill my entire family, not on purpose of course. So I get home from school and I am listening to Styx on my iPhone. I pull into the garage, shut it, get out of the car, got my stuff and went into the house. (notice what I missed yet?) Then at about 11- 11:20-ish I'm uber tired with a monster of a migraine, and David and Joey are complaining of a nasty smell. I couldn't smell anything. Well David went out and checked the garage, and sure enough I forgot to turn my car off and it had been running in a shut garage. Hopefully my car is fine, but if they hadn't noticed the smell. John and I were about to go to bedroom and watch a movie. Which was a good thing that I didn't b/c my bedroom is right near the garage, or at least it shares one wall. Anyway, as my father in law said luckily I lived long enough to make the mistake again, but it's one I won't repeat.

Oh my... that could have been serious.. good thing the kids noses work well!;)

Yeah, there was a couple not far from us that died from that, either last week or the week before. Luckily the car seems to be running ok. I still have a headache this morning, but it's the first time I'm glad to have one.

Well I guess under the circumstances a little headache is a good things... compared to what it could have been:scared1:

The worst will be over soon and you will be up recovering and on your way to running around!!!!

This is true!!

:banana::yay::woohoo: I am going to Disney in ONE WEEK!!!!:woohoo::yay::yay::banana::banana:

Woohoo! Congrats!!

Well, I had a nice weekend. I got a full night's sleep and then a full night's+more sleep, so that is nice. I feel decent, finally!

Yesterday, we went out to lunch, and then DH went with some of his friends to see Zombieland. I got a haircut and wandered through Target, instead. Win-win! We had our first hockey game last night, an exhibition game. Michigan won, of course, as they were playing against an under-18 team. Specifically the USA development team, with four of their starters coming to play for Michigan next year. (Michigan has the most former players currently in the NHL, so.)

Today, DH went off and ran a half marathon, while I slept in. I cleaned the room my mom will be staying in and the bathtub that we don't use often. Next weekend, though, it'll be nose to the grindstone for house cleaning.

Back to work tomorrow, alas. Six days of work left.

Kim!!! Girl! I am glad you are all ok!!! I wish we would have gotten the rain!! We only got some light sprinkles off and on all weekend...not the 80% downpour predicted...that I might add I was sooooo looking forward to!!! I do have a headache tonight..I think it's weather related.

Sarah~ girl...it ain't long now!!!!! Glad you are getting rested and cleaning done...this way you will be able to rest completely after surgery.....hopefully your job days will go by quickly!!!

Then we may head up and get Drew's Tiger Cub uniform. Although I was looking online and think it's going to cost me about $80 for all the crap they need! This is an expensive activity!!

Jenny--(if it's not too late) you probably don't really need to buy ALL of that stuff. From our experience (we've been part of three different Cub Scout Packs, due to moving), he won't really need a complete uniform. We've never bought the pants or socks. Shirt and belt are important; our Packs have always supplied neckerchiefs and slides; I think we've bought a few hats and other ones have been purchased by the Pack. Check with your Pack--unless they're real sticklers for complete uniforms, skip the pants and let Drew wear jeans. Also, some Packs have a uniform coordinator, and people donate their outgrown items for other scouts. :thumbsup2

Morning friends!!:goodvibes Hope ya'll are all having a good Monday...jumping back into the week after some rest!!! We got steady rain last night starting around 10....it was a wonderful sound, let me tell you!!!! I did have a weather headache last night...and I think the place we ate lunch after church made me sick.....I just felt sick last night..so I was up late...but, I did get to enjoy that rain and thunder!!! Kids have had a touch of allergies..so I am letting them sleep a little late this morning..Of course, it's dark and gloomy today, so wakin' up is gonna be a chore in itself. But..it's still not cool...kinda humid and muggy....around the 85. Figures.
Anyway...look at my ticker!! I am now under 2!!!!!!!!!:cheer2::yay:

Hello snowbirds!
Well after a fun and busy weekend. Had a typical Monday morning! Too tired to get up, running late, forgot my ID badge to get into work, my boss called in and said she thinks she has the FLU!! Yikes! I don't need that!

But, look at my wonderful bottom ticker! I do believe it says 60 DAYS!!!
:woohoo::rockband:party::jumping1:
Oh Yeah!!
The scary thing is that it's going to be a really busy month in October, and then I'll have to be really organized!

YAY :yay: I am super excited for both of you! :woohoo: I have promised myself that I will be at WDW during the Christmas season at least once in my life! :goodvibes Please take LOTS of pictures!

We will!! I know I have an extra memory card for my camera...I bought it that year with Disney in mind...I just gotta find it! I think it's put away with my instructions!! But, i will definitely bring one this time....the # of pics one can take at Disney is unfathomable!!! I try to keep up each evening and delete the ones that are really not all that great...but it's still a ton of photos!!! I am starting to get a wee bit more excited!! I think my PTR has helped...posting my daily plans and all that. I really like getting christmas at home and all that put away before our trip...but I am excited to see those decors up!!!And I think the weather will be better in dec than it is in Jan...I know it is at home and it's not toooo different from Orlando to here. Well, gotta get moving here...kids are procrastinating with school work...I am letting them!!!:lmao: It's just such a slow day here today with this weather...kinda in limbo... can't decide what it's suppose to do!!

Well my weekend was interesting. I had to work, and if this past weekend was any indication for how people are going to be for the actual Holiday Season, I really think I'll kill someone. We had a register go down and naturally the waits took a little longer, not much mind you because we got it figured out right away, but still a little longer. Well of course, some people do not like to wait. Every single employee this weekend had some sort of "complaint" filed against us. Luckily my manager just laughed when he saw them because he was there the whole time. It doesn't help either that I'm dealing with sinus stuff right now either. I had to go home early on Friday because I almost lost my lunch on my manager...that was a treat.

So anyway, I have today off. I'm still in my pj's and plan on staying that way for a while...:thumbsup2

Afternoon, everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. We went and saw Toy Story / Toy Story 2! We all had a great time. Only 1 more regular soccer game left and then it's tournie weekend. I'm ready! I about froze this past weekend! :)

Is it bad that it's only Monday and I'm ready for the weekend? :lmao:

Wow! It's really kind of amazing how impatient people can get.

Wow that weekend just FLEW by for me!

You all sound like you had eventful weekends. Some sounded better than others :lmao:...various types of poisonings :scared1:, crazy days at work , seeing TS3D:woohoo:, getting your tickers down !

Mine was good- we made it to Hershey! Kids are all fever free- *knocking on wood* The weather was beautiful. I'm going to try and throw some pics up of the day on my PTR. We'll see though. Today has definitely been a Monday for me. I'm hoping naptime lasts for more than an hour today!

Hey everyone,
I hope yall had a good weekend. Mine was ok-I was still getting over that bug/food posioning. I'm scared to eat anything other than plain mashed potatoes from popeyes now.

I am excited, my trip is getting close! I need to start making my trip binder (yes I am a nerd, and neurotic about planning and printing things and having a schedule and to do list)

I also need to get some scrapbooking done. I am wanting to finish up my honeymoon book (that was 3 years ago in 2 weeks and its still not done !!:scared1:) And I want to do a quick 8x8 book of my beach trip and then finally start our 2 week road trip from this summer! I need to find some graceland themed paper!

Hope you guys have a great week :)

Thanks, other than a migraine that won't seem to go away and feeling tired all the time, we are all good. My mother in law said it's from residual carbon monoxide.

I am planning on taking the boys to see those this weekend. I think I'm more excited about it than they are. I'm sure my DH won't want to go, so I might go solo with the boys. I might get really brave and see if my nephew wants to go, and take them all by myself. It shouldn't be too hard. I used to be a field trip director at a day care and am used to taking 32+ to a movie, with at least one other person of course.

I'm glad the kids felt good enough to go to Hersey. I keep saying we need to go there, but anytime we can go on a family trip, we always end up at WDW.

Glad you're feeling better :goodvibes Good luck scrapbooking! Don't worry I'm still working on my DD's Age 1 album- she will be 3 in February and DS's Age 4 album- he will be 6 in April :scared1:. Someday I'll catch up! :rolleyes1

I'd pick Disney over Hershey any day of the week! :woohoo:

I think I can claim the winner on the "I'm so far behind in scrapbooking contest"!
My DDs are 8 1/2 and 6 1/2. I have just finished DD8's book up to her 3rd birthday and almost done with DD6's first year!
Good thing I'm going on a scrapbooking retreat this weekend!
I got sidetracked by doing so many Disney albums - I've got three trips done, plus my parents' wedding album. So it's not that I haven't been scrapping, just not my kids' books! :)
Hopefully this weekend I can get a couple more years done. I even brought pictures in to work today to crop (I'm not terribly busy and my boss is out sick!)

:worship::worship::scared1: 32 kids!! Yikes!

It really was quite fun - they did a trivia thing between the two films. Everyone in the theatre was playing along and saying the answers. Everyone now and then you'd hear someone in the theatre say a line. It was kind of like being at a Little Shop of Horrors showing...where everyone dresses up and says the lines. It was great.
