Thanks for all the birthday wishes for my sweet Gracie!! I will try to get some pics loaded this week and share with all of you! We had rain FINALLY yesterday....the ground just soaked it up...we are way behind, and then we don't get the snow that melts like y'all do, so it was muuuuch needed...but it also brought a cold front in!!! I know that wouldn't be good news for you guys, but it was up into the 80s last week!!!! So,...we got a good 47 degrees last night and it's cool and crystal clear out there today....
Guess what I heard/read yesterday? Mike googled it and read an article, so I don't think it's 100% hoax....may really have some validity,,not sure, but.....Disney bought 1300 acres from the Woodlands ( outside of Houston..very nice area)...and plan to do a Texas Resort/Park type thing. To be a go sometime in 2012. Anyone else read anything like that? Would be the bomb diggity for me, I can tell you that!! It's only under 2 hours from me!!!! I never, never, never thought about Disney coming to Texas---for anything!!! It's suppose to be called Frontier-something-or-other....but, nothing can replace WDW Fl for me!!
Kipps birthday is in May and he asked again last night if Mike would let us go for a short trip then...poor kid, got turned down flat!! LOL... I said, well, I could take him and G and it would be sooooo much cheaper!!! Of course, he looked at me like I had 2 heads!!!!
So...I guess it'll be November!!!

Oh!! I forgot...and the Disney Cruise line is set to make some time at the Galveston port!!!!!! 2012...so, I guess we will be doing it at least once!!!!! That is about 2 hours from me too!! Generally,the same area from me as Houston and the Woodlands!!

Wow! I liked that!! there are two rows there that the color is so faint *like white!* that you can't even read the words!! well...just wanted to see if there was a color there that I keep skipping!! I tend to pick one or two things and get in a rut! Now I know to just stay off the bottom row and everything else is at least able to be seen!!

Sarah chose bright pink for our TR this time. Now if I can just remember to change color and font each time!

Sheree...I was afraid of that!! LOL...I have some 'extra' time before school today!!! Gracie is crashed after her bday, and the boys both started the sinus junk yesterday...runny noses, coughing, Kipp felt a little warm last night...so I am letting them sleep LATE today...I am laying around catching up on emails!!! Bout to get busy.....I have had that allergy/sinus stuff since the end of Feb...yesterday was the first day I felt like I am getting over it, so I figured I better take it easy today after my crazy weekend of birthday partying!! LOL....

When you hit ok, the link will post to the page, your signature, etc. Some of the letters will be highlighted in blue. All you have to do is start typing the title of your TR and that will appear instead of the long list of letters.

one of my Facebook friends just posted that someone faked an entire blog post about the Disney in the Woodlands page!! What a rotten thing to do!! But,...I think the cruise line is still coming..right?!!!! Haven't heard that it's a hoax yet....

Yup - the DIS put up a blog about the cruise (the Magic) going out of Galveston for 7 night Western Carribean itineraries which will include stops at Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozumel. Starting in September 2012. Funny, it didn't mention Castaway Cay. Those are nice ports though!
The official Disney announcement is to come tomorrow (per Allears.net).

OK, Birdies - I have officially gone off the deep end!

My dd e-mails me at 2 yesterday that she has an extra week off before her internship starts this summer. I suggest we go somewhere. She's game. I speak to a friend who convinces me that this great vacation is the answer, and by 7 PM, I've booked it!

We're going to Bermuda, staying at a high-end resort, Club level!!! I'm spending more money on this short trip than any vacation I've taken before (even London)! But she's my only kid, and she's only going to graduate once (not going to grad school, at least not yet). So it's her graduation gift. And I don't have to put it on credit.

So what the heck. It's only money, right??

Speaking as one who spoke these words just a couple days ago, I say GO FOR IT!!! Have a great time! I don't think you've gone off the deep end at all. Of course, I haven't seen the edge of the deep end for quite some time. I've been swimming in it for a couple years!

Great memories are to be made, and you can't take the money with you, only the memories.
