Oh, Sarah, what a bummer!! Your leg has definitely not been good to you!! Is this the same one with the knee troubles?

You'll have to let me know if you do come to town! I'd love to meet up in person! My husband was asked to work at the Frozen Four, but I don't believe he's going to. He usually sells merchandise at that arena for concerts.

Sheree, will do!! We're not sure we can swing it, with it being the week before we would drive to MA. That's a lot of driving! But Michigan's in the Frozen Four and they're a great group of kids. The fans can be a lot of fun - we went last year, when it was in Detroit.

It's the other leg. The current theory is that this is the result of the lack of PT after my last knee surgery. My legs are different lengths (the left & currently injured leg is shorter), I was on crutches for six weeks, and something probably isn't working right. I had the right leg hamstring injury, a lower left back injury, two muscle cramps in the left leg at the same time (I don't recommend it), and now this... all since late January. I'm hopeful and I suspect that PT will be more optimistic for recovery. The advantage of it being my left leg is that at least I can drive!

I'm so excited! A friend of the family was able to get us tickets to see the musical Beauty and the Beast!!!! It's in my town for 3 days only!!!!!!!!!!! Starting ticket prices were $68....we got them for $20!!! (Can you tell I'm excited!) Going with my mom (Beauty and the Beast is her favorite movie), my father (who will be so enthralled with all the technical stuff) and the little girl we babysit for who is 4! Have I mentioned that I'm excited!

That is such a great show!!! I saw it when I was in high school up in Toronto....amazing!!! "Be Our Guest" was my favorite number...definately a show stopper along with "Gaston." Enjoy!!

I'd be excited too! When it came here it was around Christmas and was SOOO expensive, we couldn't swing it for the four of us. Maybe next time. The Lion King is coming back here in 2012. I've seen it twice, once just DH and I went when it was in previews in Minneapolis before it hit Broadway, and once we took Sarah, she was around 4 or 5. Paige was too little. So maybe next year we'll go.
Paige would love Beauty and the Beast - it's her favorite, as is Belle!

Becca--I can't believe Gideon is that big already! What a handsome little man! I'm glad that you're finally on your way to Korea. I'll bet your DH will feel a lot better once he has his family back! I hope you enjoy Korea as much as we did!

Kim, what beautiful cakes! Best wishes to your DH in his new job. What a time of transition for your family...we continue to keep you all in our prayers.

Sarah, sorry to hear you're still having leg troubles. One of these days you'll be completely back to 100%, and you will appreciate it so much more than everyone who takes being pain-free for granted. Ooh, I would love to go to the Frozen Four! My team is playing too--not against Michigan...at least in the first game...maybe in the final!

And baseball season is underway! Sadly, my Cubs lost their first game, thanks to a grand slam...but, 161 games to go!

Hey girls!!
Well...I have had a super busy, crazy week! We did get the new car on Wednesday.....a friend of mine said,...yeah, but don't you get a new car EVERY year? I couldn't believe it...I have had my suburban for 5 years!!!!
G has a birthday on Monday,..can't believe that baby girl is going to be 8!! Depressing since she's the baby!! So...we had a sleepover last night...today we are going to lunch and then I am taking them to get Bubble Bath at Bath Junkie...that's our party favor this year! Ends up much cheaper than having a party at a place like Chuck E Cheese or whereever...last few years they have had the parties at a place with games like you find at ChuckE's, but much quieter, and they play putt putt, and you get a party room with a hostess...but, this is much easier and cheaper!! LOL...I was hoping they would sleep late,..but they were all up by 8ish.... I was hoping for some to sleep till 10--a few of them do when they are here just for a regular spend-the-night...but not so with all this talking and laughing!
So...hope you all have a great weekend.....I foresee a nap in the future for me and hopefully the bday girl!

Good afternoon all. Today is a big day. The dance team I used to be on (Buffalo Bandettes) runs a Junior program and Madison is participating this year!!! She gets to dance on the field in front of 18,000 fans...how cool! They had a big practice last Saturday where they learned the dance. Today, we have to be at our arena by 2pm so they can have a few hours on the field and go through the dance quite a few more times. It's times like this that I wish I was still on the dance team. It would have been such a great experience to dance together on the field.

Gracie's 8!!! Whoa! I feel your pain about the baby getting older. Must be rougher as the last of 3! I hope she has a great party!! Send her our love from MN!

We got Sarah's camera back - it was left in the Walt Disney Theater on the cruise, and we called and they mailed it to us in two days!!! Pretty great service, huh?

I plan to start the TR VERY SOON. Maybe even this afternoon. I will definitely post a link here and on my PTR. I hope you'll all come and join in the fun!
I have to see if Dave can load the video clip of the surprise reveal so I can post that too.

I have so much to catch up on!!!!

We went camping for Andrew's birthday this weekend. It was fun but terribly cold!!! Hopefully its warmer for our next trip out.

Hey Snow friends!!

Haven't checked in for a while! Been super busy! I have tried to cut back on the amount of time I spend on my puter with the hopes of getting a lot more done around the house! It HAS worked!!! I am getting soooo much done!!!

Kimmy G - so glad that Jays dad memorial service was a good thing for all of you, now you can start the healing process! Always remember what a GREAT man he was!!! Also so glad that Jay has started his new job!!! So glad for him!
Kids cakes look AWESOME!!!

Sheree - I always put the cake in the freezer for at LEAST 15-20 mins before attempting to ice it! It also helps if you make the icing a little bit warmer/softer by nuking it in the micro for a few seconds at a time to get a better consistency! Better Luck nest time!

Hope everyone has a GREAT week - I shall try to pop in a couple times this week - but I have several projects I want to finish this weeek so I may be scarce!

Hey girls! Kim~ I am glad for y'all that the funeral and all went so well! It's great that your dh has this new job to focus on...God's timing is amazing! Love all the bday pics,but the one of Em with that Bambi is tooo cute!!!
Well....it is spring here for sure--we had days tipping the 80 degree mark already But we have had a small front come thru with cooler nights--sure makes a difference!! Have been having some issues with the suburban--not major, just time for little things here and there to be replaced/repaired...tires are due this week. GEEZ they are expensive!! But...we are looking at a new car! I have been in a Tahoe, or Suburban for 12 years now...so anything smaller is strange to me...we went to look at Tahoes,...ended up looking at the Buick Enclave. Mercy!! I fell in love with that vehicle!! So...we go to the other dealership our friend works at and they had a Denali Acadia...WOW!!! Looks a lot like the Cadillac Escalade!! Paint color and all that...so we are looking at both of those--they actually have my sub today looking at Trade values and let me take one home to check out....so...maybe by this evening we will be in a different vehicle. I was surprised at how roomy the interior is in this size car. I looove it...if I get it will post pics. Really am shocked that we are even looking at something else...I already had my next Tahoe (Suburban if the price was right) picked out!!! You never know, I Guess...but it all hangs on the trade-in....my hubby is a haggler...so I may just send him down there alone and see what he comes back withenali, or old Sub!! I can't stand all that! I think it's a man thing...all the hubby's I know love to do this car haggling stuff!!
On a diff note...I am still dealing with these allergies!!! UGH!! It seems a bit better today...but just tired of dealing with it...I don't really need an Rx, but it just lingers.....

Kim- LOVE the pics of the kids birthday party. It looks like they had a lot of fun. Those cakes were amazing!!!

Shawna- We're going to start looking for a new car for me pretty soon. I love my little Ford Focus, but it's now 10 years old. The air conditioning stopped working a few years ago and I cannot go through another summer without it. Especially with a newborn baby! I wouldn't mind getting another Focus or possibly getting a Ford Fusion. I even like the Ford Escape (I'm a Ford girl, can you tell?). I won't be getting a brand new car, but it will be new to me! We just have to find one in our price range.

In case anyone is interested, I FINALLY updated my TR today!!! It's been a few weeks and I'm down to our last 2 days. I cannot believe I came home from WDW 6 months ago TODAY!!!! At this time last year, I was in full on planning mode. So sad to think we're not going this year. I even got a pin for Free Dining, but Tony still says no.

You're planning alright!!!...just for baby instead of Disney! Soon enough you'll be planning his first trip! I can't believe you're due NEXT month!!! You're so close!

She was fantastic!! I'd love to dance with her someday, but I don't think it will happen. As much as I'd love to dance with the dance team again, I think I'm done for good.
