I would love some random time off....
Actually every Monday we have 1 hour late start. That means the teachers are there at the normal time but the kids come an hour late. We have inservices, team collaboration, and today we had fitness activity time using our Wii systems!

The Nutcracker is my all time favorite ballet. Going to see The Nutcracker has become a holiday tradition for me and Hannah. Last year Clay and Alison went with us and it wasn't much fun as they didn't enjoy it as much as Hannah and I; so, no more Clay and Alison! LOL This year is going to be special because my Mom will be going with us. May be the beginning of a new tradition! Prior to showtime you can get your picture taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy, and, of course, I have to get Hannah's picture taken; and I always get a nutcracker to add to my collection.

Friday the 18th is a workday without students....

For us, too. By then, I will allow myself to think about trip stuff, so I'll be fighting between getting grades together and daydreaming about a pretty ice castle somewhere in the south.

Your package arrived today. As always, you were too generous. The family will be thrilled, as will Brooklynn.

Sigh...I haven't placed the order yet...I'm still deciding if I should do the mature thing and not get them because we do have a non Disney tree skirt and stockings...or do the fun and Disney crazy thing and go for it...I'm trying to think of a way to justify the $...

Oh You all have been having fun over here the past night, but heck, that is ALWAYS the case!!!!

Say, a neighbor friend across the street just got back from WDW -- last week, they had a lovely time, WL, BBB, CRT, MVMCP, the whole "little girl's Disney" trip!!!! They had a great time, said weather was nice, I am hoping for nice when we are there! They did have a little rain, got colder this past weekend, but I am not surprised given our snow from that "southern storm"!!!!

Oh to Disney Store shop or not!!!! I did make one final final order... just two Christmas items. THAT is IT. I know there will be lots to see there when we are actually at Disney... so I am saving my $$ now!

I have a regular tree skirt and stockings that I love... My Disney Themed Christmas is purely trip related!!! Though I can now have a "Disney Christmas tree" at home in my downstairs playroom/rec room... I am so excited to get my loot too!

Yes our day will be filled with entering grades and printing off report cards. If we are lucky we will have some time to work on lesson plans.

That was quick service mail! I didn't even get it mailed until Saturday! I know the family can use it, it's such a horrible situation! It's a good feeling to know that we could be of service...

We had a great time! I think we could have played all day, but the kids came and we had to teach.....

Yup as long as we have a sub....I was reading the rules in Texas though and I won't have the same luxury with vacation days as I do here in Florida, but I'll survive!!
