I am trying not to think about what this next week holds for me at work, although Monday is creeping ever closer and closer.

Jackie, I'm sorry school is so stressful for you right now. It's not supposed to be that way during the holidays. Let's hope the next two weeks fly by!

I hear ya - that would be great! Honestly though, I'm just hoping for no rain. I have a friend there right now and it's been cold and rainy the last few days. I can handle cold weather, but I can't handle being cold AND wet

I bought Brooklynn and Bella the Santa's Cookies plate today that is the same style as your tree skirt.

And it all started with a Halloween bag.....

I am not even thinking trip thoughts until I am out of school. I just left the travel-sized things, ponchos, etc., in my suitcase from the October trip, so that's a start.

That's a good plan! I have a drawer that I start stashing Disney goods in...

Explain the DVC thing to me. I haven't read it all, but does it mean if you get the points you could possibly be there for NYE?

The contract that we are buying has 120 points that have to be used by Feb. 1.
If we close very soon, we would be able to use those points for a portion of the trip coming up and possibly extend our visit. It would just free up some of the points we are using for our 2br at Kidani. It's confusing. But we are going to discuss sending the big kids home and Marc, Baylor and I staying for a few more days.
If we can't use them then they will go to someone that can!

Tear it up on the Toy Story Wii game at school. You have to 'represent', you know!

I still need to learn how to use the game system.....

Let me change that - not NYE, but overlapping the beginning of our NYE trip.

I can't even think about it. Everything is so up in the air!

That's our series, very different from the way I learned to do math!

I don't understand the new ways to do math. I just can't wrap my brain around the concept of there being more than 1 way to do it.

I can't count the times one of my dear children has informed me that I'm doing it wrong, while helping with 3rd grade homework.

Oh my gosh...Anita David has the Everyday Math in 2nd grade and one night I was checking over his homework...I thought either he was mad or I was because I didn't know what was going on with the +s and the arrows and the boxes...it was surreal......(he was right...I got it after my 7 year old explained it to me...)

There is a new book out called the Nutty Nutcracker...bit of a modern spin from the little brother's perspective...I just read it to David with a more traditional version to show points of view...(it was cute...the nutcracker turns out to be a girl in the former version...role reversal...)

Ok thanks for the enabling......I was right on the fence and could have been pushed over by a feather but this is good......Do I order tonight or wait till tommorrow?...

I think you'd be able to catch on......if given enough time!

Let me tell you, Disney can be incorporated into any math lesson....
In 4th grade we did a mapping activity with Disney maps....
