Our new house has no mantel-we decoarated a book shelf. And the stockings were hung by the BOOKSHELF??? with casre. Pffff. Oy.

The students were just asking today if I knew if you all had received the letters. They are beyond excited about having pen pals!
As far as writing to us. Do what fits into your schedule. I know how busy things are this time of year.
You think you have it all worked out then another email comes and it's another assembly....
Our Christmas elves arrive from the North Pole a week from Thursday so they will be quite excited about that until the Christmas break. The kids last day is the 17th and we have a work day on the 18th.
Baylor has a basketball tournament on the 19th and we leave at the crack of dawn on the 20th......

I'm sure your mantle is adorable! Especially with the stocking hanging from it.
Yay, I'm glad you will be going in Dec. 2011! We have to make sure we are there at the same time.

LOL...in Leslie's defense we didn't check the itinerary that morning LOL and we both had copies so I guess I'm just as guilty as she is LOL!

Love all your Jim Shore pieces! I've got a couple, but want to expand my collection. I was eyeing a nativity set yesterday but the price tag scared me away.

I think Baylor & my boys would get along great - mine love basketball too, the oldest more than the youngest. DS13 is bummed right now because he fractured the growth plate in his right elbow and can't play - it's killing him to be a cheerleader from the bench! He is developing a decent shot with his left hand though, so I guess it's not all bad....

With all the rain that could have been a possibility LOL!!!!! However I think we might have walked around the Showcase at least twice before hand LOL!!!!! Awww...what good times at least they did get us in and those were some great mashed potatoes LOL!

What we did was wander around World Showcase WAITING for our ADR. And We were like 40 Minutes late.....not an hour.

Ours were beyond excited, as well, when we matched them up today. Several of the girls are already doing the 'best friend' talk. They started writing the letters today. We'll help guide them a little, but not much, and then they'll put the final copy on a clean sheet by the end of the week. I'll mail them out this weekend, hopefully, but don't hold me to that. You will get them before the break, though.

Peep Fest will be or probably be June 15th-24th at WDW 24th-July1st on DCL. 1 week by land, week 2 by sea. I think most folks will choose one or the other. I know alot of my friends and family out here want to do the DCL so many of them will probably only do 1-2 days at WDW before the cruise. WDW will probably be mostly DISers and probably my cousin and her family.

I made this announcement today and told them their Tennessee friends have their letters, they were quite pleased. I also shared the news of your student's fire and they were very concerned for him.
