Snow-Wigd and the Christmas Elves, a December pre-trip!

congrats on your add-on!!! We're seriously considering adding on 100 more. We'll definitely do resale, unless DVC comes up with some amazing incentive! I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it! I don't want to end up all confused with use year etc! Ideally I'd love VWL or AKV with the same use year!

We shall see...

Just throwing it out there again....if you think you have too many points they can always be donated :confused3 ;)

That is the exact line I dream of saying!:rotfl2:
Yep, that line feels pretty good to say until I'm reminded of the maintenance cost on all those points.
:rolleyes1
Need to catch up :surfweb:
Welcome back, we are a little Christmas happy around here. :santa:

Just be sure that your add-on is for the same use year. Our two small ones weren't and it is a bit confusing. We have thought about selling those small amounts and re-buying some with a Feb. use year. We really like using the Timeshare store!

Actually we have offered those points to someone if we can't get closed quick enough for us to use them.:goodvibes

congrats on the new baby(timeshare):rotfl:, you must be getting so excited your trip is almost here ! :woohoo:

woohoo! More points!:yay:

It all confuses me but I do understand the most important part...more time in Disney World.

Thank you for the explanation. So... someone was selling their DVC, you put in an "offer" and then Disney has a right to buy that "offer" first? Since they didn't, you can and did??? Is that about right? Oh I feel like such a bad DISer right now!

So you guys are going to be down there the latter part of October...interesting, interesting! I am waiting to see what deals come out as to when and what I will book for next fall, but wouldn't it be fun if we were there at the same time?!

Have a great night! :cool1:

Congratulations on passing ROFR! So exciting. :cool1:
Thanks! I am very excited!

Oh yes! So much going on, the trip is quickly approaching, closing on the new points. Then trying to figure out if we can use the banked points or making it happen for another DISer in January. Lots going on!

Bottom line, more time in Disney! Bottom line, much less money in the bank.....

Yes, Katie, it would be so much fun! This evening Marc mentioned going in February, just after our spring conferences... I would love to go at Spring Break but airfares are sky high.
I need to jump over to your PTR and check out your dates...

Congrats! That is very exciting. Hopefully someday we will have ONE contract lol!

Today we finished our Thanksgiving word finds. Completed our "Favorite Thanksgiving Foods" graph. Packed up our turkey ceiling art and our table top turkeys. Made wreathes to hang up next week and brainstormed illustrations for our "parent gift" calendars. Lastly we watched "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving". Oh yes and did I mention that "Pocahontas" visited 2nd grade today and did calendar?
It's going to be a fantastic 5 day holiday break!

Woohoo for a 5 day weekend!!! :cool1: I loved holiday activities when I was in school!

Well my 2nd grade wrote a brief constructed response about what he was thankful for... At least he decided he was thankful for paper airplanes...

Gee... he should be in your class!!!! :lmao:

Tomorrow is our 1/2 day -- my littlest had his last day today with Turkey dinner... I am so excited for the weekend, I can get cracking officially on Christmas... I have already cheated listening to Christmas music in my car!!! :rotfl:

Enjoy your time off!!!

I'm not doing anything exciting, but it is going to be wonderful not to hear my name called all day for five days.

Also, I will not hear, "She's touching my things," or "He skipped me," or "I did my homework but I left it at home."

I am thankful that I have a job.
I am thankful for my breaks from that job, too. :)

I wish he were in my class! I took Jackie's idea and had all 56 second graders load up all their worldly possessions, consisting of coats, backpacks, and tote trays and head out to our black top area where we measured off the Mayflower. Each child then boarded the ship and we discussed the voyage. Today, Pocahontas (ok, it was me in a costume) welcomed them to the new land. It was a hoot....

What is it with 2nd grade boys and paper airplanes? Any time we have an indoor recess there are paper airplanes zooming around the room....

I know that you will enjoy your quiet days off.
I will also enjoy not hearing my name,
or "she pinched me" yes I have a pincher...

I am oh so thankful for the opportunity to sleep in the next 5 mornings.
No Black Friday shopping for me, we are keeping Harper overnight so Megan can go out and brave the crowds!

If there are bargains to be had, I'll send Marc out at 4 am, as for me, I'll be snug in my bed sleeping away....
Although I might worry a bit about what I'm missing out on!

ROFR= iIsney likes Wigd but not Mary LOL. Congrats on the points. We will get ours someday....Yay for the time off!!
