Snow White's Not So Scary Adventure-Updated 11/11--Photopass part 2

We wanted to go right after New Years in 2010, but SIL and I are teachers and our vacation calendar won't allow it that year. We're back to early June now, which makes our husbands happy because we can go back to Star Wars Weekends! Great update - isn't AK just the hottest park???

I have never been on the Dinosaur ride, but next time I will try if I can remember.

You should go on it next time you are there...it is the best

I don't know how I got a whole update behind......must have been cuz the DIS was so aggravatingly slow yesterday night by the time I got on.
I think the photo of your dad and you and Mickey is one of your best so far, Dad looks so happy!
What in the world, no lines???? Was it a hurricane day? It doesn't look like it from the pics!
We melted in AK, too.
It is the only park we didn't commando tour this year (the kids all mentioned it was just too hot, even to enjoy EE or Dinosaur!)

Dad was so happy the entire trip...I wish I could take him back right now...he tore his rotator cup and is in a lot of pain right now and it looks like he is going to need surgery

Sam and I just finished looking/reading the past 5 or so pages of your TR. (Sam doesn't read long words yet, hence the "looking") We are all caught up now. We love the photos at LTT. You and Dad are so cute! I also like the Dinosaur ride picture (Sam says the big mean Dino is super-scary! )

You're a Grey's fan too?!!! Yay! I am so into that show! I only watch 3 TV shows faithfully: Heroes, Project Runway, and Grey's Anatomy! (I do occassionally watch Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters).

Hoping to read another update soon.....

When I last left you we were getting ready to head to DHS for dinner. The minute we walked out of our room it started to DOWNPOUR…Fay had finally made her appearance! We made a mad dash for the bus and luckily one was waiting for us.

When we got to park it was still raining so we put on our ponchos and headed for The Great Movie Ride since it was inside. We waited maybe 30 minutes and when we were finished it had stopped raining!

By this time it was time for our ADR at Prime Time so we checked in there. Our meal was wonderful and our server ended up being from Buffalo so we had a lot to talk about!

I love the old tv shows they have playing


I’m not to sure what everyone had but I know I had tuna noodle casserole…it was ok but I probably wouldn’t have it again. Our dessert was fantastic...

I had the smores


Mom had a Brownie Sundae
I’m not sure what Dad had since I didn’t get a picture but I know he had something since I got a picture of him picking it out…



After dinner we decided to head over to TSM to see what the wait was like…the sign said 90 minutes so we decided to go in the single rider line.

While in line we had a European family in front of us…there was probably 6 people in their party…at one point in line they jumped into the regular line and cut everyone that was behind them…the worst part is no one in that line said ANYTHING to them!!! I couldn’t believe it…and as if it couldn’t get any worse…they did this 2 more times! Mom started to get angry so she told the women that was in charge of the line what they had done but sadly she didn’t understand English very well so she didn’t really understand what we were telling her.

We only had to wait about 30 minutes for a car and in the end we all ended up in the same car!

After TSM it was raining again so we headed over to Muppet Vision 3D and then we FP Star Tours.


While we waited for our FP’s to be ready we headed over to Rock n’ Roller Coaster which had a 120 minute wait. We decided to do single rider and spent about 50 minutes in line and again we all ended up in the same car…I even got the front!


*side note…while we were in line a cast member came around and told everyone that all parks would be opening an hour early tomorrow because of Fay…

After RNRC it was time to use our Star Tours FP’s so we headed over there.


The park was really busy this night so after ST we decided to head back to Pop so we could get a good night’s rest.

We got in line for a bus around 9:30 and had to wait about 30 minutes for a bus…which was the longest we ever had to wait at the bus stop the whole trip!
