Snow white & the 7 dwarves in the world for 11 days! Dec 6-16th 2008 W/ Pics

OK, I am going to try this again. I tried to start a trip report a few months ago, and it didnt work quite right, so I am scrapping it and starting fresh!!

Ok, we were in the world in Sept of 2007, and I said then that we werent going back until 2009. Well my SIL and BIL started planning a trip for Dec of 08, and we said we werent going. Well they started planning, and the thought was too much for me we had to go! So we started the planning! We were going to WDW again!!

Originally my SIL/BIL were planning for a cabin at Ft. Wilderness, so we booked one. Then I started looking at the price and realized that for what we were spending for 7 days at FW we could get 10 days at the all stars. So I convinced my husband that was a better plan, so we called and changed it. Well SIL/BIL decided that was a good plan also, but they wanted to do a family suite, as my MIL/FIL may come along and stay with them. So then we knew it had to be the Music.

Well I made my ADRS on the 180 day mark, have my MVMCP tickets! I am ready and when Southwest opened up the airfare, I was looking at the tickets and to fly out on our original day was $500 more the the 3 of us!! But if we went the day earlier we could get extra day at Disney, and still save $300!!

So here we are 11 days, 10 nights at All Star Music. 10 day Park hopper tickets with dining plan! We arrive on Dec 6- and leave on Dec 16th!!
I will introduce the characters on the next post!!

OK, I am going to introduce the cast:
myself- I will refer to myself as Minnie mouse because I love her!!
DH- he will be Donald Duck as that is his favorite, and he is kinda like him, loveable but sometimes grouchy!!
DD-will be 6 in Sept. before we go, has celebrated her 3rd and 5th bdays at Disney- she will be Cinderella as she is a princess all the way.

As soon as I figure out how, I will post some pics!! So advice is needed here!!

SIL-- I will refer to her as Jasmine, as she is also a princess, as she is the only daughter of her parents and almost 8 yrs younger than DH
BIL- will be Alladin as he is always with Jasmine
Nephew-- he has to be Stitch because as loveable as he is, he is a terror!! All boy!!- he is 3 years old
MIL- we will call her Snow White-- see my title-- as she follows or leads at times the 7 of us around, her family is her life!
FIL- will be Eeyore, he may not always like to go along with what the rest of us want to do, but he does.

YAY!! I have a reader!! I will write some more a little later this evening. I am cooking dinner right now, so dont want to start with anything that will take too long..

And Thank you about my daughter, there will be many pics of her to follow!! We seem to like her, as she is our one and only!

OK let me start with the plans we have so far. We are arriving at MCO at 105 pm on December 6th. Actually only some of the cast is arriving to day. Snow white and Eeyore arent coming until tommorow. I am guessing we should be at ASMusic no later than about 3 pm. We plan to try and take a taxi to a grocery store/walmart this afternoon to pick up a few things. Any hints on the closest/best one appreciated. Also we would like to hit up a liqour store. Jasmine and I both like Baileys in hot chocolate. So we are hoping to get refillable mugs to get hot chocolate and just put in out own Baileys, much cheaper than the bar for a nightcap!! So I am looking for the closest of those also. We have a ADR for dinner at Whispering canyon cafe at 640 pm, may change that if Jasmine and Alladin want to go with us. As this ADR is only for 3 people. After this we may head over to Magic Kingdom if we feel up to it, as it is open until 12 I think. If not back to the hotel for a good nights rest.

Well I am at work, so no pictures with this post. But I promise to add more this weekend.

On to the plans for Day 2
We plan to get up and start our day at the Magic Kingdom. We have reservations that evening at Chef Mickeys. Snow White and Eeyore will be arriving sometime today. After dinner we may head over to Epcot for evening EMH.

Day 3

We will probably go to AM EMH at Animal Kingdom, and then head over to Magic Kingdom for the evening. We have a 4:30 reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern.

Day 4

Today is our MVMCP day. We will take it easy today, maybe spend part of the day at the MK, possibly go to DTD. We have reservations at 4:40 pm at 1900 Park Fare, and after that we are heading to the Christmas party

Day 5

Today is our Animal Kingdom day, no ADRs today. Not sure what we will do with the rest of the day.

Day 6

Today we are spending the day at Disney Hollywood Studios, with ADR for primetime at 405 pm

Day 7

Today we are going to do Epcot. We have a 430 ADR at Garden Grill, was originally for 235 pm, but had to change after they canceled lunch. Not planning too much time in the world showcase as it doesnt interest Cinderella at all. Planning to do spend most of our time in Future world.

Day 8

Today we have ADR for Ohana breakfast at 930 am. After this we will spend the majority of the day at MK. We have a dinner ADR at Plaza rest. for 555 pm. We will probably take a break at some point today.

Day 9

Today we plan to go back to DHS and do whatever we missed on the other day. We have dinner ADR at 400 pm at Sci-fi rest.

Day 10

LAST PARK DAY!!!!

Today we have to end the trip at Magic Kingdom. We have a early ADR for 810 am at Crystal Palace. And plan to spend most of day here, as we wont be back for a few years....

Day 11

Pack and spend time around resort, Flight is at 2 pm, so I figure we get ME at about 11 am.

I know all about running around the hospital~ I wore a pedometer to work one night and it said I did 7327 steps in an 8 hour shift a couple of days later I went for a 3.5 mile walk and I only managed 3850 for steps. So I either walk for miles at the hospital or something was off!

We had never had it until this past winter Jasmine & Snow white were at a casino, and it was COLD in there. Well the lady beside them got one, so they decided to try it. Well Jasmine came home and was making them and I tried it... YUMMY!! Hot chocolate with baileys and whipped cream on top! We have also drank it this summer in just chocolate milk and it also tastes good that way.

Well since I have filled you in on the plans that we have so far, I will tell you all about our 2 past trips we made.

Our 1st trip was in Sept 2005. I grew up loving Disney, but with a single mother, the option of going was never there. Well the spring when my DD was 2, my husband and I were trying to plan something to do. We would usually go out of state to visit family. My DH made it very clear, he didnt want to visit anyone, he wanted a REAL vacation. We went around and around, and he said how about Disney. My response was we cant afford it. He told me to look into, and it was much more affordable than what I thought. So the trip was booked for our DD's 3rd bday. We arrived on Sept 7, I think it was a Wednesday. We went straight to the MK. We had no plans whatsoever. So we spent a few hours there before my DD was exhausted and had a 2 yr old meltdown. The next day we went back to MK and spent the day. If memory serves me right the next day we went to AK, and DD liked this park but kept talking about MK. Then Sat we tried MGM and she still wasnt as impressed as she was with MK. Other than Fantasmic, which we all loved!! Well on Sunday we attempted to do Epcot, but DD had had enough of not being at MK and was not happy, so we hopped on the monorail and went over there after just a few hours. I think we went to MK again on Monday, and on Tuesday it was her 3rd bday and we had breakfast at CRT and she LOVED it, and that afternoon we headed home. One funny thing was she fell asleep at MK, and slept all the way back to hotel and to MCO. She woke up when we were waiting for the plane and wanted to know if we waiting for a parade because we were all lined up..

This was the 1st character she met, and she still loves Ariel to this day, and talks about her kiss from Ariel!! My baby was so tiny then, it makes me sentimental

And our 1st meet with Mickey, she was ecstatic, hey so was I... I had tears in my eye, I was meeting my favorite since childhood!!
