When we reached the 14 day mark, I used to send DH a daily weather report. When it got to the last couple days before vacation, I was very busy at work tieing up loose ends and I did not have any time to research the weather, he sent me an e-mail "What, no weather report today?"

Sorry, it's been so long since I've been able to even look at the DIS! I definitely want to do secondary education (high school, I think). Either History or Music (Voice). I'll have to decide soon though!!

I realized why I was nervous...we went from waiting to realizing we had to get our butts in gear and start packing. Wondering if I had everything was making me nervous. Now that I made a few more shopping trips and have started packing I am calming down. My thing is I am in charge of myself and three other people plus a little bit for my DH.

We are driving down to Disney as we always do, I think you need to read more closely, hehe. And I dont know about calling to confirm because we rented a house in Celebration and I have never stayed on property. But I am guessing it doesnt hurt to give em a call and confirm. We are thinking about calling in for our ADR's just in case.

And yes, I get nervous before the trip. I just posted over on Cathy's thread that my stomach gets in huge knots until I am actually on the plane and there is nothing I can possibly do. I always think and rethink about what I have possibly forgotten. It's pure torture, but worth it!

Thanks for joining myspace and being my friend!! I agree that the nerves subside once we hit the road or are actually at our destination. It really is silly to stress out over what we've forgotten to pack because it is not like Florida is lacking any stores. That is what I always tell myself when we go down there, I just think If I forget my toothbrush, I can always just buy another one down there.

My dd2 has that very same Donald and she can't sleep without it!! We don't know how it came about, but she developed a Donald obsession all on her own, so we ordered this for her!!

Aww that is so cute that your DD2 loves Donald!! I am sure she keeps it more clean than my dog does. Or maybe not, I have a nephew that is 2and he is capable of making things pretty dirty haha.

I am so glad to know that this nervous feeling is completely normal. DBF doesnt understand it. I guess men don't get nervous. I am glad that my nerves are starting to subside, I have tried to completely relax and just think that soon enough I will at Disney and not even thinking about anything else!!

Well my fellow DISers I am happy to report that in less than 1 week we will be headed to Disney World!

DBF and I are debating whether it is 5 days to go or 6 days to go like my Countdown Clock says. He says 5, I say 6 just depends how you countdown I guess. Either way it is less than a week, and that is all that matters!! When I send him his Disney Character of the Day I do it according to his count of...

5 Days!!!​

Well I had quite the scare yesterday I thought I was really coming down with something. My throat was all scratchy and I started to feel congested and my stomach did not feel right...Of course I think the worst and think I am gonna be sick going to Disney World. I was so sad and on the verge of tears all day because I felt to icky. DBF told me everything was gonna be okay and if I was getting sick that I should be better by Friday...He told me, like he always does, to stop worrying and that I was over reacting...

Well I ended getting a good night's rest and tried not to think about it and guess what? I felt 100% better this morning! I guess DBF was right...he is right a lot especially when it comes to my over reacting!

My packing is pretty much done, I just need to pack away the things I will be using up until the day we leave, the essentials ya know, toothbrush, toothpaste, contact solution, glasses, cell phone/charger, etc...And I will be bringing my straighter and hair dryer.

It will probably be 100 degrees and humid everyday yet I am going to attempt to do my hair...yeah right, we will see how this goes. Please remind me of this post when I begin to write my Trip Report so I can see how many times I had my hair down and how many times I had my hair pulled back, that way I will see with photographic evidence how much I used my straightner. I guess it is like a security blanket. If I don't bring my straightner then I would wanna straighten it everyday and be pretty bummed that I couldn't. I told you I overpack.

I need to run to Sam's Club to get those Starbucks frapuccinos...mmm...we need to buy a couple cases of them for the drive down and then to keep at the house. I NEED coffee in the morning, and at home I drink Espresso (remember I am a crazy Italian) but obviously we don't have an espresso machine on vacation so those little frapuccinos do just the trick.

Miss Lady for 9 Days, btw, I just love this movie! I saw it for the first time the other day and thought it was wonderful! The puppies are the cutest.

Miss Dory for 8 Days...I Love Finding Nemo! I can't wait for the AK show and ride at Epcot!

Miss Belle for 7 Days..I probably resemble Belle the most out of any Disney Character, although I wish I were Cinderella.

Miss Aurora for 6 Days...IMHO, Her castle has got nothing comared to Cinderella's.

??Mrs.?? Fairy Godmother for 5 days.

I wonder if DBF noticed I sent him all girls this week? I didn't even mean to do it.

Oh no, that would have been awful if you had been sick! Good thing you feel better. I swear, I always attempt to do my hair, but after a couple hours this Florida humidity just ruins it. I forgot last time to bring my round brush, so it was pointless to even try to blowdry my hair!
