Is the snow just a visual effect or does man-made snow really fall down
on you as you walk through???
Thanks for your help.

I don't actually remember any snow at Osbourne Lights besides the made up snow around the buildings. But then again it was pouring cats-and-dogs for us, so don't think fake or real snow would worked for us that night anyway.

Last year there was no snow at Osbourne Lights...the only "snow" we saw was at the MVMCP and I belive it was very tiny soap flakes blown off the roofs on main street. Very subtle but had a nice effect.

When we went it was just the most MAGICAL experience ever. I come from northern NY so snow is a given for our x-mas.And when we attended the Osbourne Lights and the snow began to fall it was so magical and beautiful for me. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. So to beable to see all those beautiful lights drink hot chocolate eat sugar cookies and see the snow falling was wonderful definately and experience NOT to miss. It was a man made snow that looked and felt like the real thing!

The snow does look pretty real. But it is actually soap bubbles blown from the roof. Celebration does the same thing during the Holidays. But there is usually a lot more of it

It is pretty funny seeing kids try to build snow men out of soap.

There was snow when we were there last year. If you can call soap bubbles snow. ;)

But it's very neat, anyway!

There was "snow" last year when we were there! Word of warning. I know last year there was discussion on DIS that the "Snow" can damage lenses of cameras so be careful when it happens. It is a soap substance.

Soap flakes and rain don't mix very well...so that's probably why you had no snow. :)

That makes sense to me. Even though it would have been funny seeing a road of bubbles with the lights. ;)

The snow mixed in with the lights is just great. It was unbelievable......Enjoy yourself and after you walk through it, walk through it again.

The last year we went to CP which was about two or three years ago they also had snow falling at the end of the Processional. i don't know if they still do it or not.

Does the "snow" fall the whole evening....or just at certain times. I want to make sure the kids get to experience the snow? Thanks to anyone who attended last year...and can shed some light.

Yes it snows the entire evening. There are many spots along the street where the snow is falling down.

They had snow at the end of CP last year, too. I love it!

At the Xmas Party and the Osbourne Lights the snow is falling the whole time. As I stated before at the CP it snow only at the end.,

Does anyone know if there are any special characters out during the Osbourne Lights?

I dont think there are ANY characters back by the Osbourne Lights. But there were some street performers! They were fun!
