Snow Day!

DS not going to school today.
Can't believe we are having so much snow just now- it's a white out today
We are going skiing in France in under two weeks but I think I have had enough of the white stuff - should have booked Florida

Quite a few schools in West lothian are closed, but not my children's! Am half expecting a decision to close at lunchtime - it's still coming down.

We had terrible blizzards from 5 pm last night, was still snowing when I went to sleep at 11pm. I was convinced we would have a snow day today but when I got up most of it was gone!!

Been snowing on and off all day but it is melting just as quick as it is falling.

We have had a really good winter, hardly any snow just the odd day and the kids have had no snow days ( thats almost unheard of up here)

We weren't as lucky. Snow day here today! Thankfully my mum was able to bail me out as she was home today or I would have been stuck for child care

Cant believe you are all getting so much snow in the middle of March. Its freezing here in Wales but we have escaped anymore snow!!

This time last year the weather was wonderful with sunny skys and warm temps, what a change!

now for the weather from the South

Its been a glorious day here, well for the most anyway, the sun has been out, the daffs all out and not too cold. This evening it started to rain and we had some thunder and lightning...its our warm air meeting the cold air from the north.

I so DO NOT want anymore snow. Roll on summer!

What a difference a year makes, this time last year we were having BBQ's due to some lovely weather just before Autumn started in April I saw on the news this morning that there could be more heavy snow by the end of the week, this really has been a cold and miserable Winter, and I've really had enough now!
