Snow Day!!!

Well it's snow day here in Peel District school board!!! YEAH!!!

How is it in your neck of the woods??

New Brunswick is supposed to get it later today. Our snow day will be tomorrow

Everything closed in the Burlington , Hamilton area...
Doesn't look SOO bad , just snow , and cold. I think there were white out's last night.
( although , I've seen alot worse... I think they jumped the gun on this one)
Even the local YMCA's are closed today..
Looking forward to playing in the snow with the kids!!!

No snow day here in the GTA. My teenager is NOT happy, the little one wants to go and hand out Valentines

Well, I waited this morning for more than 45 minutes for the good 'ole TTC bus and it never came. My hands and feet were frozen so I had to walk back home to warm up. I might try and make the trip downtown again later today but a self-declared snow day is sounded pretty good right about now

YIPPEE! SNOW DAY in my part of town! My kids and the dog started sledding at 8:30am! Now we are having hot chocolate and watching Narnia! I'll tidy the house a little, start a magnificant dinner and read my book beside the giant picture window in my living room!

It's a GREAT day! S

Not Fair!! I live in Guelph and we always seem to end up with more snow then you people South of us EXCEPT for this time!! schools open and busses are still running!

And I was really hoping for a snow day too!!

I live in Windsor and no buses are running, but the schools are opened. I didn't send my kids to school.

Annapolis Valley Nova Scotia...snow day here too, but it hasnt started to snow. Must be making up for storm days they didnt cancel last week

I'm in the Hamilton area....and we got over 75 cm of snow I'm still trying to dig out my driveway.

We're just outside Ottawa, and buses are all cancelled in our school board today. The kids are happy to have a snow day, and I'm working from home in my pjs...life is good!!!

Snow day here in Waterdown! I knew last night before I went to bed that I would be home with the kids today, so it was great! DH the firefighter had to go to work today. He just called and said the roads are really bad, much worse than yesterday on our way home from work, and because the parking lot at their station is down a little hill that goes behind the station, there is apparently no way they will be able to get their vehicles up it to go home unless a plow comes because there is now a huge drift across it! I'm just enjoying a day at home with the kids (and the dis), knowing we don't have to go anywhere or do anything! Days like this sure don't come along very often!

I have a snow day today even though there's not that much snow yet . I think most schools weren't cancelled but I'm not going to complain about a day off. It's supposed to be much worse tomorrow though.

MouseGirl, you must be in the UCDSB? That it the board I work for. I went in but we did not have any kids at all today. I took the opportunity to get a bunch of work done on my report cards and all my photocopying done to take me to the March Break!
