Still no power at the ILs. My poor MIL is miserable. Cold and damp will do that to a person. Hopefully they will get power soon and it will warm up in the house real quick.

I think we got about 24". My DH is out trying to get the cars out. I don't have to work until Monday at 7p. not sure if the kids will have school. I just wish I could shake this cold. I can't even go up the stairs without getting winded. There is no way to help with the shoveling. Sorry

There was a bus and train accident near here last night when a bus got stuck on the tracks. everyone on the bus got off right before the train hit it. Someone was looking out for all the people on the bus. it was crazy.

Princess and I have been productive. Got 9 glittery ornaments decorated with ribbon, "wrapped" (thrown into a plastic bag from the dollar store) and labeled. Made two gift card holders with the Sizzix die (OMG, I'm in love again). Decorated those (Holly, she loved the letters you gave me). Put the buttons on Mrs. R's coffee cup cozie (reversible!) and "wrapped" her gift (I put the gift card holder with the gift card into a clean Dunkin' Donuts cup and put the cozie around it with a cover on it). Princess put a pretty purple bow on top - matches the cozie. Picked up a bunch of stuff in the dining room, DH will be happy, but my Cricut is in the basement again until after Christmas

Will probably do some wrapping after lunch. If I don't get sidetracked by my book again...

i did hear from him. he's plowing out the kolh's plaza in mansfield. he said the stores are bare. he said nobody was in m's! now how would he know that?????

tell her she's welcome for the letters. i got them at jo's when i was standing in line waiting to pay. i find the best things at that part of the store.

bubba and i have been out playing in the snow all morning. we came in and had hot chocolate and cookies then lunch! a little backwards there?? now i have to make 6dz cookies for the swap tomorrow. and do laundry. oh and we made ornaments today too!
did morgan make her's? we made the glitter ones not the snowman ones. saving that for christmas afternoon with my nieces kids.

AWM-sorry to hear about you inlaws. hope they get power real soon.

have not used my die yet. hopefully sometime today i will.

Those weren't from Tar-gey? Regardless, she loved them, she used Mrs. R for the front of her gift card.

We have (had?) 2 small and 2 large packages of glitter ornaments that we did last week. So, we've been wrapping those (yours is one from the first batch). I did buy more supplies, so we can make more at some point (maybe for next year?). She did her snowman, though, it's super cute!

Hmmm, he must have run into M's while it was quiet and picked you up a surprise!

DH and Princess went out for a short while. Her cheeks were sooooo red! She brought Mr. High Tops out to go sledding too. (Mr. High Tops is the "class pet," a stuffed giraffe). She has to write about his adventure in his journal (she really wants me to make him a scrapbook), so we printed out pictures of him from dance class, wearing 2 pairs of legwarmers and her very small very old tutu, from basketball yesterday, sitting on top of a ball, from sledding earlier, and with our SiaMeezer.

I am sorry that all of you in eastern MA (including my dd on the MA/RI line) got the brunt of the storm. Outside Springfield we only got 3-4 inches - very lucky indeed!!!

I guess you could say that today was productive We got all the holiday cookies made and 1/4 of the driveway cleaned out. The local farmer was to come and plow the rest but as of 7 he still has not showed up I guess we will call him again tomorrow and see if he can get us out . I just got off the phone from my dad and he told me there is talk of no school on Tuesday either, but then again we still have Wednesday.

Not many schools here are canceled, but we're hearty New Englanders, we don't cancel school for a couple feet of snow!
