Snorkeling in Nassau

Has anyone done the Caribbean Queen snorkel tour or the Catamaran Sail and Reef snorkel? Both of these are thru Disney. Or have you done any snorkeling tours outside of Disney? I would really like to do something fun in Nassau rather than just going to the straw market like we normally do. Thanks!

Have done them both. We liked sailing on the catamaran better - more of an open-air craft. Both went to the same general area, where the snorkeling is pretty good, but can get crowded with numerous boats. The piece we really didn't like about either one (and the reason we probably won't ever do either again) is that, while they pick you up at the dock relatively close to the ship, they insist on dropping you off at the far end so that that you have a 10-15 minute walk through all the often aggressive vendors to get back to the ship.

i havent done nassau but I have heard people say CC is better
