Snagged BOG for January!

Woke up at 6 am CT and called WDW on our 180-day mark. First time I've done that in YEARS! Snagged BOG at the time I requested. The agent said there ere still many seatings left for Jan. 8th dinner. My 20-year-old birthday girl will be thrilled! Today is going to be a great day!

You girls ought to try lunch there too if you get the chance! I just love both experiences because they're so completely different. We had lunch in the West Wing that is not open for seating during dinner time. It was cool!

How were you able to get that for January 8th? When do you check in?
We check in on Jan 4 and cannot make any until tomorrow.

I was just thinking the same thing, as I am trying for a reservation on the 5th and can't do that until Tuesday, because it is 182 days out today.

Oh, it just occurred to me that resort guests get to reserve at 190 days. I am off site, so I can't do that. Be sure you have your resort reservation in the system when you try to get your dining done.

I got it for January 9 today!
I called and originally got a 4:00. I was afraid to pass it up as I figured that's all we could get. I had to call back later in the day for something else, and asked the CM to check any later times. She came back with a 5:05. Much better! And then, I finally got the website to work for me just now (4:00 pm on my 180+10 date), and there were several choices for 1/9, party of 4! We now have 6:05. Perfect! Not changing again.

Happy for you! I'm not sure I'll be able to get BOG since I can't reserve until 180 days, but, I'm going to try!

We arrive Jan. 3 and hadn't talked very much about where to eat that night. Today is our 180 day mark so DH called first thing this AM and I suggested he try for BOG, thinking we wouldn't get it. To our surprise, we were offered 4:50. We asked if there was anything around 5 or 6 we were offered 5:45!

I just did this this morning, and I couldn't get the first day that I wanted, but I got an early dinner ressie (4:20!) another day.

Got ours this morning too! We have party of 9 and had to break it up to 6 and 3 at 430 & 520, but she said we would probably get to sit together. She said they cannot reserve a party that large. I don't care as long as we all get to eat there around the same time!

YAY! Got our BOG ressie today too.

After our success for a party of two on Friday Jan. 3, I was hopeful that we'd get lucky for our party of ten on Tuesday Jan. 7, but no pixie dust for that day. But we did snag Friday Jan. 10 at 4 PM, which for ten people isn't bad. We have one reservation for 6 people and one for 4. We're excited!

We check in on January 2 (that was the 180-day mark). Then WDW let's you book 10 days out from that.

Got up at 5:30 to start checking this morning at 180 days out (not 180+10). At 6:00 exactly, I could get no reservation for 8 or 6. Finally, I took the one that was available at 4:10 for 4, but I don't know who I will tell they can't go.

I was looking for one for 5 people, and could only get one for 4 on the day that I needed. I searched for 5, 6 and finally 4. I also took it. I am going to post a question about getting seated with a party +1.
