Anyone know what kind of snacks you can get at Settlement Trading Post that would be appropriate for breakfast? We will be there in June, and will be doing the quick service dining plan. Thought we would pick up snacks for breakfast each morning from the trading post on the way to the parks.

Thanks, Tromba

Can't fine anything on Settlement, but a very kind Dis-er here did a great photo tour of the Meadows HERE

Settlement has Entenmans pastries, cereals, milk, eggs, etc just like Meadow Trading Post. Difference between the 2 wasn't that much, But Meadows does seem to be larger in overall size.

Yeh, the thing is, I don't know what is allowable as a snack credit under the dining plan. I doubt that eggs, milk cartons, boxes of cereal would work, but maybe they would. Has anyone tried to get these things as snack credits? I was thinking more on the line of sticky buns, doughnuts, muffins, the kind of thing you would find at the bakeries in the parks. You know, the kind of thing you could eat in the car on the way to the parks.

We've bought the Cinnamon Buns there a few times- they're pretty good (microwave them a few seconds makes them better):)

I don't know if it can be used as a snack credit as I haven't ventured into the world of dining plans, but Trail's End has fresh baked pastries available for takeout first thing in the AM (7:30).

First wave of pastries, the selection is usually larger.

When we last did DDP in 2007, pretty much any food item under $4 was eligible. Thing is that not all CMs seemed to know this or know how to ring them in right, so occasionally it was a bit of a hassle.
