This is my first Trip-Report, so we'll see how this goes. :surfweb: Needless to say, I am beyond excited about our trip. Next post: "The Plan"

While planning this trip I have been studying the dis boards for tips and ideas. As I went along I kept a file on my computer. The idea was to get all the tips I liked together along with my travel details in one document that I could print and take with me. Weelllllll, that document is now 11 pages long. :confused3

"Si, these things do 'appen."

So here is the plan. Tonight Jason and I will finish packing everything and do laundry. Tomorrow night we will clean the house top to bottom so it is nice to come home to next week. We have two wonderful cats that will stay home while we are away (neighbors will check in on them), so they will be getting extra cuddles tonight and tomorrow night. Friday night we will load up the car and put the kitties' food and water dishes down because Saturday will be an EARLY day!

Here is a cut from the 'loose' plan I have drawn up for our trip:

Saturday:
Leave home @ 4:30am – drive to Providence airport for 7am flight (arrive at airport no later than 6:15am)
Arrive in Orlando @ 10am – Magical Express to Resort
Arrive at All-Star Music and check-in @ noon
Tour Downtown Disney and Disney Quest for afternoon and evening

Sunday
Morning Magic Kingdom!
Noon-3pm rest and swim at hotel
4pm Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom
Dinner reservations at The Grand Floridian

Monday

Morning Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom
Lunch reservations at The Tusker House
Afternoon rest and swim break at the hotel
Evening Extra Magic Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Dinner reservations at The Tepanyaki House

Tuesday
Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach in the morning (opens at 10am)
Rest at the hotel in the afternoon
Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom (4pm)

Wednesday
Tour Magic Kingdom in the morning
Rest at hotel
Tour Epcot in the evening
Dinner reservations at Chefs de France

Thursday
Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach or Downtown Disney in the morning
Leave for airport @ 4pm
Go home :(

Let's see if this all works out.....

Wow, that is one detailed packing list. :thumbsup2 I might have to steal it to make sure I haven't forgotten anything important for my trip.

I have to ask... What's Cynthia, Bruin and Lumpy?

We have already deviated from the plan. Last night we did not finish packing. Instead I took a bubble bath and read a book. :confused3 Luckily DH saved the day by getting a jump on the cleaning. He did the dishes, changed the cat litter and straightened up the kitchen. This morning I started some laundry before I left for work. :laundy: We have one of those amazing washers that is also a dryer. I just start the laundry when I leave for work and when I get home it is washed and dried. If only it could fold itself too! :rotfl:

Anyway, the stress is getting to us. Jason and I started arguing last night about little couple-y things. Nothing major, but it really shows me that we NEED this vacation.:headache: :headache: :headache:

Yesterday Jason reminded his boss that he will be out next week. His boss turned to him with terror in his eyes and said "Now is not a good time to go on a vacation." Ummmmm, this vacation has been on the company books for months. It's not Jason fault his boss forgot about it. What does he expect us to do, cancel? :scared1: Fat Chance!!

OK. Deep breaths. In and out.... Back to good feelings.... we're leaving for Disney World tomorrow, right? Be happy! :woohoo:

Today I'll be wrapping up loose ends at work. When we get home I'll have to finish packing and get the house ready for our departure. Wish me luck!

Next I'll post some of my planning supplies so you can see the depth of my neurosis! ;)
