I hate everything about smoking. I hate the smell of it because it gives me a headache and I get asthma as well.

I don't know if she smokes, but she does have a Ka Ka Mouth. I just saw on E News her telling the paparazzi to get the F out of her neighborhood. She must have said the F word 4 times in about 5 seconds.

Seeing people smoke makes me sick. My mom used to, but she quit and she's gotten a lot healthier since then. She's been "clean" for almost a year now. My dad still smokes, though. I can't stand that he does. He's got bad circulation and he doesn't get that part of the reason why is because he smokes. Even his doctor told him so! And he complains about how it's harder to get insurance for certain things because he smokes and I just want to scream at him!

Anyway. I can get that sometimes people that have smoked for a while just need to light up. A true addict will need a nicotine fix every half hour. I've timed my parents and that fact is true. Every half hour, they would have a cigarette.

Some of my friends do pot, some of them smoke cigarettes. I'm not going to make them stop, though. I've told them that I think its stupid, but I'm going to let them make their own decisions. However, some people I know do harder drugs and that's when I just walk away. I'm not going near them.

I don't know why ppl do it. It says it is so harmful to your health.

I was a smoker. Started when I was 14 and smoked up till I was 16. Then I stopped because I got pregnant. After I had Kelsey I swore I would never ever pick up the nasty habit again. But that changed about 2 months after having her. I started smoking again until just recently when my mom found out I was doing it again and she hit the roof. I don't know why I started again. Probably because my friends do. I know it is stupid and I haven't smoked for over a month now. This time I am quitting for good.

My parents smoke occaisonally, not that much. It really bothers me, I hate the smell.

Yeah, people shouldn't do it, but I don't make a big deal out of it.

I'm paranoid about it, actually. If we're outside and someone was smoking I would breath in and hold it until we pass them.
Once I was at a Cafe with my friends and the table next to us was smoking. We got up and went to another table when they sat down..I know that sounds rude but...I really don't like it.

One of my friends smokes. She told me she quit, but then confessed that she never had. Her parents and her grandfather smoke, and her mom found out and didn't care. She said that's why she still does it. I've tried to talk to her, telling her that while her mother doesn't care I do, but she doesn't listen. I've just given up. If she won't listen to me, then what can I do?

And what I really don't understand is that her grandfather has cancer from smoking, and she's afraid he's going to die, and she deals with that by smoking! How does that help anything! It infuriates me. I cannot stand it.

well said austin. lil sticks of death...exactly wat they are. my grandma and dad and older brothers smoke. i hate, hate, HATE it!! i'll post more later.

its okay with me if people want to smoke, but they should wait until theyre out of college/high school (depending on how much education theyre getting). that way, if theyre going to smoke, peer pressure isnt a part of it. most smokers regret smoking and started while in school.

also, if people are going to smoke, then they should do it where its not going to effect those of us who dont. over half of my family (extended family included) smokes, and im afraid im going to get lung cancer someday because im around it so much, even though id never smoke if you paid me; besides, i have asthma, and smoking would be just plain stupid!
