I tried smoking cigarettes when I was 13. For about a month. I don't really know why I did. Guess I thought I'd look cool or something. Anyways, I stopped and was never "addicted". I think it's stupid when 13 year olds smoke for a day and are like "omggg im lykkk soooo addicted to this". Uh, no, you aren't.
That being said, I now cannot stand the smell of smoke.
I don't allow people to smoke anything in my car.
I think it's stupid to freak out like "OMG!" when someone is smoking. Yes, it's terrible for your health. No, it's not up to you to save them. If someone chooses to smoke, whatever. I don't respect you more, I don't think you're cool, I will just leave/walk away. It's not up to me to educate people on smoking. If they had half a brain, they'd know what it does to you. Their choice.
My stepdad smokes and I can't stand it. When we go on vacations, we end up waiting for him to finish a cigarette, or go on rides & stuff without him. It's annoying.
Also, hate it when kids smoke in school. I mean really, it's 9:30 am, can you not wait a whole 6 hours to smoke? It does nothing. NOt that drinking or drugs are ok, but people do them to get something: drunk, high etc. SMoking gets you nothing in return except gross side effects.
By 3rd period the bathrooms reek. Smoking isn't really enforced anymore, because they need to actually see you with a cigarette in your hand. And since 99.9% of the time they are in the stalls, they never get punished.
so anyways, i don't like it.
