Smoking/Non-smoking, VB, anyone?

I wanted to post this one more time just in case someone can answer my question.

Do you know if there are designated smoking and non-smoking floors in the main inn at VB?

We have requested a certain floor-3rd-but will change our request if this happens to be a smoking floor. We have always enjoyed staying on the 2nd floor but wanted to try something different this time.

Anyone know?

I called the resort and the CM could not tell me.

Maybe they don't have designated floors and just do it by room-no big deal.

Just want to know if anyone knows otherwise.

Call Vero back and ask the question again. They have to know how the smoking/non smoking rooms are broken up.


We are headed down on the 14th and parents & FIL will have inn rooms , non smoking. Would like to know how they do it.

The only place I have ever seen smoking and non mixed on the same floor was the sheraton vistiana in orlando. We had the pleasure of being next door to a smoker, it was AWFUL.

I did call back and the CM answered my question perfectly. He said the 3rd and 4th floors in the main inn are non-smoking and the south half of the 2nd floor is non-smoking and the north half of the 2nd floor is smoking.

I'm glad I called back.

For anyone else who may have been wondering, this is for the main inn only and not the villas. I'm sure they deviate from this a little bit if they have a great number of smoking or non-smoking inn rooms booked.

If you happen to get put next to a smoker, like at the Vistana, I'm sure they will do whatever they can to move you.

We have never had a problem being next to a smoker-only if we were sitting out on our balconies at the same time. It's kind of funny, we actually had more of a problem on the beach. This guy would sit next to us every day on the beach and light up a big huge cigar-I'm not flaming him-some people enjoy a good cigar-but we did have to move whenever he did that-I started to think we were on candid camera or something because it happened 3 days in a row.
