Smoke from Currents affecting port side Concierge Staterooms?

Hi! I just booked stateroom 11016 on an upcoming cruise and read some old reviews regarding smelling smoke from Currents in port side staterooms. Is this still an issue? There is only one other Cat V available for this cruise and it is a HA room, so I don't feel comfortable booking it. I'm just wondering if I should be on the lookout in case something opens starboard side or if you think 11016 will be ok. Thank you for your thoughts!

Smoking is allowed up there, I am not sure if it affects anyone but we were on the ship last week and didn't hear anyone complaining about it.

We were in 12016 or 12018 (don't remember which) on the Fantasy a few years ago and never noticed it. I wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

I have not heard anyone complain about smoke smells. I think you will not have an issue in 11016.

There is an overhang on your veranda so hopefully you won't have a problem. There is a lot of smoke on that side of deck 13 next to Currents and have noticed it on that side of the Concierge sundeck.

There's one area off to the side where you can smoke and it's on the highest outdoor deck. I can't imagine that would be an issue while underway at sea. There's always a pretty good breeze up there. I don't even see how it would be much of an issue if there was absolutely no wind as the smoke tends to rise.

Thanks everybody! I'll keep checking to see if something opens on the other side, but if not, I'm not going worry too much about it. I would think if it were that much of an issue they would have trouble selling these rooms and that doesn't seem to be the case! Thanks so much!

Currents is on deck 13.....up and aft of where you are booked. The smoke goes up and aft. You should not smell anything.

I've not read of any complaints since shortly after DCL restricted the smoking area to outside Currents, outside Meridian and 1/4 of Deck 4 after 6pm.

We were in 11018 in November. Never noticed any issues, and I fell asleep on the balcony in the evening with my headphones on. The apparent wind was coming from starboard, so if I was going to smell it I should have. Nope.
