I probably have a couple thousand Disney pins - not sure exactly.

That would be 43 pin trading binders (not all full), and other miscellaneous framed pin sets, tins of pins and other random pin sets. We used to live in Tampa and were pretty close to WDW so we went often and still do.
I can't pick a favorite, but I do love my older ones (1985 or before). The ones where you had to actually go to a hotel or place or event rather than go into 1 store and have every pin right in front of you. I like having the memory of where I got the pin from. Remember, pins were a lot cheaper back in the day! A long time ago I started with collecting Disney buttons, which were $1.00. But, I guess they were not as profitable for Disney as the pins have become.

It was after one of the Olympics and the Disney Millennium Celebration that their pin trading really took off.
I do have my favorite Disney pin categories: food, restraurants, hotels, Christmas, certain movies, USA, cruise line, etc.
We are extremely lucky in South Florida to have 2 Disney outlet stores, and they have fantastic pin sales. I really don't buy any pins from WDW anymore cause there are just too many out there and they are too expensive. I just like trading with cast members. Dh trades on-line at:
http://www.pinpics.com/ - there you can see just about any pin ever made and it is totally up-to-date on the new pins.

Now you've gone and gotten me started on pins!
