DD decided to do some thing else in her room. Quick lets post before she gets back :thumbsup2

O.k., my day:
Day was fine until Noon. Another senior staff member decided she needed to leave at noon. Didn't leave at noon yesterday b/c they were on a very long field trip (I work at a daycare btw). So, she's gone. At three pm, more staff leaves b/c they work 6-3. The other senior staff memeber felt sorry for us (she normally leaves at 3pm too) stayed for an hour. I had to stay in the infant room b/c there were 7 babies. Babies just don't understand waiting to be fed, changed, or rocked. Any way. Even after 4pm, there was no one to answer our door (we keep the outside doors locked at all times and you have to ring the door bell to get in). So, there I was running back and forth taking care of babies, answering the phone if it rang, and opening the door. lots of :teleport:ing. I worry b/c they'll be short a staff member after I'm gone and I don't know what they are going to do. The Eeyore in me told them, I won't be here, I hope you'll be prepared for the worse. We're having issues with our cook too. She's really starting to slack off and expect to be paid (which she's not being paid staying late). I look forward to tomorrow b/c it will be a fun day for me. Since its my last day, we're having pajayma (sp) day. :woohoo: I'm bringing in icecream sandwiches, some one's brining brownies, and I'm brininging in Dove :mickeybar:s for the teachers. No mouse ears though. Oh, and the person taking my position (director) was crying this morning b/c some e-mails were missing . If she's crying over that, she's really going to fall apart start Monday.
Sounds like a hectic day for you!!
