I thought last night's ep was great! I think it's very ironic that Ivy ended up with a Broadway role and Karen is now floundering, waiting for Bombshell to be edited/approved/re-funded. I wonder if they will continue to follow Ivy in her new role? I hope so - I absolutely love her voice.

I'm already over the J. Hud character - didn't a PP say this isn't a permanent role?

I hope the dramaturg and Julia do not end up together, but I'm seeing indications of that already ...

I was SO mad last night when my local station preempted Smash to cover a local event. The explosion and fire here WAS major, but hours later, there was nothing new, mostly a rehash of everything that was already known. Thank goodness for on demand but it isn't the same ... can't ff through the commercials!

Hey neighbor. They actually moved it over to channel 38 the spot. They said it prior to 9pm while they were covering the event.

Howdy problem ... I had it DVR'd so I didn't learn about the swap until 10 PM! They should have put the news coverage on channel 38 and just run banners IMHO. I sent them a fairly polite e-mail.

What did everyone think?

meh...I was underwhelmed. I don't care for the 2 brothers story-line, and dare I say it, I am missing Ellis in a way! What the heck...eve tho he was a jerk, he was more entertaining than Jimmy (who apparently gets to be this seasons jerky star wanna-be).I read the ratings slipped evn lower than the season opener..maybe life is imitating art with the show falling apart?

Unfortunately, it's Smash that needs the dramaturg.

It's disappointing. The edge is gone.

I watched faithfully last year and despite the bad reviews, I always enjoyed it. I really dislike the direction they are going in now. I deleted it from my DVR recording list. I find all of the new characters uninteresting.
