I thought he slept with Rebecca to save his damn show. He did it to bolster the ego of his star, not because he cares a jot for Rebecca. As in what you said below:
I'm sure later on he will tell Ivy that was the only reason he slept with Rebecca, so everything is really all right between he & Ivy.
Ivy, so desperate to be loved, and feeling as guilty as her self-absorbed self can be, will feel a smidge of guilt for sleeping with Dev, so she will choose to believe Derek.
sad, though. i wouldn't want someone who slept with someone else, regardless of what that reason is. but yeah, Ivy has a serious need to be loved. i honestly thought that Derek genuinely cared for her though. he obviously cares more for himself, which is in tune with the character.
Yes, this I don't get. Dev felt guilty for almost sleeping with R.J.. THAT is really why he proposed. He felt guilty and needed reassurance and for Karen to make things all right and sweep it all under the rug by saying she will marry him. But, if he was going to sleep with anyone at all, it should have been R.J., not Ivy.

I had to rewind it the second time she said it and she said, "I can't even THINK about whether to marry you right now." They have problems. Rebecca pointed some of it out last week before the Bollywood number. He hasn't been quite there for or with her. And R.J. is a presence in their relationship. I don't have problems with her needing to think things through. Her feelings aren't obviously strong enough to say yes, in spite of it being tech week.
i stand corrected.i didn't re-watch it. and i don't think they need to be engaged, since they obviously have issues. but i didn't understand her reaction. now, i understood her reaction when he told her he almost slept with RJ. that information would be something she needs time to process.

Hello, if she can't even be around Michael, because she's afraid she will get into his pants again, there is something wrong with her marriage AND her impulses. What is she, in high school?
agree again. i just honestly don't care. i'm sure Julia will end up pregnant. she actually kind of looked pregnant last night, but there really hasn't been enough time for her to be pregnant and showing already.
other than that i HAVE liked Dev, i don't really care about any of their personal lives. for some reason, i just want to see them work on the show. but i guess that doesn't make a good drama. they are dealing with too many personal storylines. i'd like to see them cut some of those out (especially Julia) because it's just way too much. they don't have enough time to devote to certain storylines because they're trying to cover EVERYONE.
