:thumbsup2 I just wanted to brag about my airfares for our December trip. We are flying out of Chicago-Ohare on American on December 15th at 11:50am which arrives in Orlando at 3:30pm. This is perfect because we can not get into our condo at Orange Lakes until 3pm. We are coming home on December 22nd on United which leaves at 4:15pm and gets into Chicago-Ohare at 6:10pm. This gives us some extra time on our last day to get a few more rides in. Total price for the round trip airfares was $203.80 per person. party: :yay:

Good job!!:thumbsup2
We are flying out of Chicage O'Hare for our trip in June! I got American Airlines roundtrip for $117 per person!! I couldn't believe the price was that low! I booked it in February.

Since then i check the rates for the same flights every once in awhile and they have gone up to over $300 round trip!:scared1:

My Yahoo faretracker has American or United non-stop to MCO from O'hare for $123 round trip right now.

I paid $115 round trip on United in Jan...in April we paid closer to $180 round trip per passenger (April is more popular / expensive).

For rental cars...try priceline.com... we never pay more than $25/day for a luxury sized car.

For travel sidestep.com is great...checks all possible carriers beyond what expedia and Orbitz do...

Our flights are for right before Christmas. Coming home on December 22nd is very expensive. We have vacationed during this time on 5 other occasions and have paid anywhere from $235 - $278 round trip. $203 on major airlines in and out of Ohare is as good as we might be able to do on SW or Airtran for the same time and those tickets won't be available for a while.

Sure, and personally, I'll take O'hare anytime over Midway! I hate flying the off brand airlines...prefer AA or UAL always if I can!
