Just thought maybe this could be a sticky at the top of this thread....

Pet tricks in order:
* stay
* follow
* here
* beg
* jump
* spin
* chase tail
* side jump
* shake jump
* circle jump
* jump and spin

Some people have shared that their pet skipped a trick, but this is the general order in which they are learned. Also, if you pat another person's pet frequently, the pet will come to know you as well and come to you when you enter a room.

egad I thought ... jump and spin... oh nevermind :rotfl:

I will put a link to that particular post dreams in the important threads listing :thumbsup2

ETA: dreams you know what would rock? :) Do you think you could edit that post and add a little bit on how you teach your pet tricks in the first place? Then it would sort of be a complete guide on pets :)

Jump and Spin is the final trick. (Jump and Spin is one trick, as opposed to the tricks jump and spin.)

That's all we have discovered so far, but I was talking with Tony yesterday (you know, Aengus' BFF) and he said there are around 16 tricks, so we still may be missing a few.

Met an actual mod yesterday - James Smallworlds. The other staff I've met have all been something else (art dept., game designer, etc.)

well Bee, Tony and I are snappy dancers :rotfl:

I actually added to the moonwalk yesterday ROFL

Kind of looks more like the late 80's "running man" dance :rotfl2:

I don't know about you all but my dog is able to gift people with "presents" left in other's rooms.

Just wondering if ya'll knew what the different levels of membership were...I found this in the SW forums and thought it was very interesting:

Here are the levels of space membership in order from lowest to highest:

Member: They can enter your space if you have it set to members only.

Contributor: Same as Member, but they can also place items from their inventory into your space. The items still belong to them though, so if they are removed, they go back into their inventory.

Officer: Same as contributor, but they can change the space configuration (name, description, decor, snapshot) and change space membership for levels below Officer. They also have full rights to any item in the space and can boot anyone from the space with a level lower than Officer.

Owner: Same as officer, but they have full control over space membership and space security (open, members only, password). They can boot anyone from the space, except for SmallWorlds admins.

These membership levels are also used to set item security. This lets you choose which level of space membership can Use, Edit or Move a particular item in your space.

Thank you for posting that. I've been wondering about that for a while and I couldn't find it on the site. I guess I must have just overlooked it.

anyone else having a problem getting into the site mine is just stuck on the loading screen

Yes, these levels are used for all sorts of controls.

For example:
If you put a gate in your house anywhere, you can set who can open and close your gate based on their "level" of membership that you assign. So, for example, if you want a gate in your room that no one can open except for 1 other person, you could set the gate to officer rights and assign just that 1 person officer level rights.

It's a great tool when you learn exactly how to use it.

You got it Aengus. I won't have time to do it today, but tomorrow is a day off :cool1: and I will pull something together then. :)

Ink loved this and said this would have been great in VMK. Ink pointed put lets say i wanted him to do a makeover for my room. I can make him an officer and then he could do a make over for me. Very cool feature.
