Can someone explainer the cheaper Wishes package to me please.

DH and I want to do our VR Dec 2017. We think we'll have 16 to 18 guests including ourselves. We'd like to do the ceremony on the beach outside The Yacht Club and then have a brunch at
The Attic.

The reason we thought the Wishes package was our best choice is that we don't want all the flowers, cars, extra fiddly bits at the ceremony but we do want a nice buffet with music and decorations.

We'd also like to book the Grand yacht for the evening as it's also our sons 21st birthday, will the Disney wedding planners be able to book it for me ?

In a nutshell, it's not a package. It is a Wishes Collection event with all the same options and requirements, and everything is selected a la carte. The difference is that you get a discount if you hold your event Tues-Thurs and drop one hour from the reception. It's like the special offers they used to do a few years back.

In this case, the discount is $25/person off the food and beverage minimum and only a $3,000 enhancement minimum (instead of the usual $5k/$8k/$10k enhancement minimums). There is no discount on the Ceremony fee.

Your plan is the perfect setup for doing the Wishes Catered Event Experience. Your planner may or may not be interested in helping you book the Grand 1. I'd call right at the 180-day mark to book.
