small crowds at MK

We were at the World last week and visited MK on Thursday and Sunday. It was really hot and the park was quite crowded, particularly on Sunday. Friday and Saturday were grad nights at MK, so the park closed to the general public at 7pm. We did not visit MK on these days, but now I wish we had. My husband ran into some people who had been at MK on Friday and they said the crowds were really light and wait times were minimal. People were avoiding MK on this day because it closed early for the grad night.

I wanted to pass this piece of information on in case anyone is at the World when grad nights are going on. I believe grad nights are over for this year, but for all of us planners, this is something to consider for future trips.

I was there grad night Friday (Apr. 8) and it was fantastic. Very low crowds.

Thanks for the tip! We will be there next May 2007, so I will keep it in mind. Since we will have 4 kids under the age of 6, we probably wouldn't last much longer than 7 pm anyway!

It really depends on the day, We were there the first grad night and it was slammed. we ended up leaving at 5 ish because you couldnt even walk. we waited over an hour for Dumbo. 50 mins for Pooh and and an hour to meet the princesses......we ended up going to Epcot which was worse... it took us 40 minutes just to get in the gates.... there were a ton of grads.. It was like a sea of seniors....
