Slowest week Nov v Dec?

Hello
We are planning to come down from Seattle for 5-6 days and wondering which of these two weeks will have lower crowds?

Sun 11/25 - Fri 11/30 or
Sun 12/2 - Fri 12/7

I believe both will have Christmas decor, right?

I'm taking kids out of school so want to make most of our trip. Thanks for any insight!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe both weeks have pretty much the same crowd levels. The week in November may be a bit crowded on Sunday being thanksgiving weekend though. And the first week of December may be a bit crowded depending on the candlelight processional and when the cm parties are. However, I did see somewhere that there were going to be more than one candlelight processional so that may cut back on things. All in all they are both good times to go to see the holiday season at Disneyland. There is also a super thread on the holiday season that may be helpful. I'd post the link but I'm on my phone. I'm sorry.

Typically the week after Thanksgiving is known as one of the lighter crowd weeks. The following week it starts to get a bit more busy as Candlelight Processional kicks into full gear.

That being said, we usually go the week after T-day and it has seemed to get a little bit busier each year... so more folks are catching on to our secret.

We went the week after Thanksgiving two years ago - Wed - Sat. Wednesday, Thursday, and most of Friday was GREAT! As the day went on Friday, it got more and more crowded. On Saturday, it was CRAZY crowded!! Getting in and out of Disney was hard too because of the crowds and the Candlelight Processional setup somewhat blocked the the way in and out at the end of Main St.

The crowds are pretty much the same on both of those weeks. Maybe a little bit busier the second week. That's the week my family and I go to DL. Lighter crowds, chilly weather and magical Christmas decorations! Those 2 weeks are great! We will be going again this year too

You are correct as far as past years...not much difference between the 2 weeks but seeing as how the second week will have the Candlelight Processional, I would definitely go with your first choice starting with the sunday after thanksgiving...I usually try to avoid that like the plague but unfortunately this year with timing, I am not going to be that lucky...

Can somebody tell me what it's like mid week that first week of December? We are probably going to go Tues-Thursday. It's our last chance to go during Christmastime off-season before my son starts school full-time. I have gone during the 2nd week of December before and found it very nice and un-crowded. Hoping for the same during the first week.
