Slow Post Submission??

Sorry if this has been asked a zillion times before, but it seems to take forever....or at least several minutes to post replies to the message boards. After hitting Submit Reply, the browser goes off to Never Never Land and never comes back with the normal "your message has been posted". Sometimes if I just Stop the browser and refresh the thread my post is there. Sometimes it's not and I have to try again.

Is the time it takes to post related to the length of the thread? I notice this happens more frequently when posting to a very long thread on the Parks board (over 1500 replies)

Me too, man, me too. I just thought it was b/c of my slow IBM network here in the office. Thought it was punishment for surfing forums while I"m working.

Never mind...someone must have kicked the server and it's working fine now.

<font color=navy>This has been happening off & on. There has been a surge of people who are on the DIS at any given time, and this causes the boards to slow down.

What I do when my post goes to la la land, is to hit stop, then hit submit again. That seems to kick it in gear.
