Oreos......who loves Oreos?
Which ones do you normally buy for you and your family?

(multiple choice - all choices will not be there, because there are so many Oreos and I only have 10 spots for the poll)

*We love Oreos in our house :goodvibes
For my family......regular (everyone), birthday cake (DD#1), Lemon (both DDs), Golden(DH), 1/2 regular and 1/2 yellow (everyone).

I voted for several, though I don't buy them lately, since they are far from on DH's diet.

I prefer chocolate cookies to golden, and I like to try the seasonal flavors. I'm not big on double and triple stuffed.

We've been on an Oreo kick for about two months. I usually buy (at the same time):

Regular/Original - family size
Double stuff - family size
Chocolate - DH and I both love them. They are sooo addicting!
Birthday cake - occasionally. DS likes to have them once in a while.

Those are what I currently have in our snack cabinet right now. I have to admit, I also love the mint Oreos but hardly ever buy it. Every once in a while I'll buy a seasonal and/or a limited edition package. On the limited edition we've tried:

S'Mores - DH and I love this one, and I'm not a S'mores fan in general. DS13 tried it and didn't like it.
Red Velvet - Bought one time for DS to try since he likes red velvet. He didn't like them at all. DH liked them and had them instead. Me? I never liked the taste of red velvet, so I wouldn't even try one.
Pumpkin Spice - Both DS and DH like these.

original double stuff. Normally I eat the filling and sometimes throw out the cookie

In our house it goes:

DH - reg or double stuff (original) and the Reese peanut butter cup ones.
DS20 - reg, double, or mega stuff (original), Reese peanut butter cup, S'mores ones.
DD18 - reg or double stuff (original) and the Reese peanut butter cup ones.
Me - reg or double stuff (original)

Both the kids have my habit of taking two oreo's and twisting one cookie off of each, then putting the two pieces together. Even with double stuff's this is how I eat them. The left over cookies become puppy snacks.

I don't eat them....not on the diet plan
But I do buy them for DGD.....so far I have just gotten her original (which would be my choice if eating them), berry and peanut butter. She loves them all. She always asks for Oreos (she will be 2 on Monday).
It is a cookie that she can have (dairy free)
She does eat the filling first and then the cookie

The new cookies and cream filled ones! They are awesome, but of course the same price for half the package.

My other favorite is the white chocolate covered ones they sell at christmas.

I buy double stuff original and double stuff golden. Ds likes the original and I only like the golden except if the original is chocolate covered. There is a local fantastic candy store that sells milk chocolate covered oreos and they are beyond delicious!!

When babysitting my nieces for the weekend we did the Oreo Challenge and it is really hard to tell the difference. Birthday cake and golden tasted like the original with your eyes closed. I was not impressed with Smores, seems like it needed more of a marshmallow flavor. Did not think I would like the Berry, but it was my favorite of the bunch we tasted.

We don't get very many varieties up here and it seems like the double stuf ones have as much filling as the original ones used to. I don't buy them.

Original Double Stuff, they barely last two days with 5 of us eating them.

I voted Original, but I haven't purchased Oreos in years. I am one of the select few people who doesn't really like the creme filling so they just don't appeal to me in general. I do love Oreo cheesequake blizzards from Dairy Queen though! LOL We don't eat that sort of thing much anymore.

I try to buy organic food only for many reasons so if I saw an organic small brand version I'd give them a try. Right now we're not eating gluten for a 3wk trial for my husband so that's another issue with Oreos!

I don't really buy Oreos very often, but I saw the lemon ones at the store a few weeks ago and picked some up. Yum!

I voted I don't eat Oreos because I don't eat sugar. I rarely buy them for the family because we don't keep sweets in the house, but every couple of years I'll buy a pack of the regular ones because they don't have artificial ingredients (or at least they used to be that way). My guess is the flavored ones aren't like that.
