slo's Monday poll - tattoos

Just got my first tattoo 5 days ago and I LOVE it. It's a smaller version of a tribal DH just got(on his left upper arm)....he found a pic of it in a magazine ad and being a huge Notre Dame fan, he had an interlocking ND put in the middle of it. Mine is about 6-8 inches long on my back, right shoulder. Instead of the ND I had a "hidden mickey" put in the middle of mine. DH also has a tribal armband on his right arm, but is getting ready to add to it and give it more of a Polynesian Tribal feel.

I am now addicted and my next one will be on the top of my foot...and I'm going to do a toe ring also.

I watch Miami Ink all the time and have seen pretty much every episode so far. Kat is amazing with the portrait tattoos she does...they are absolutely gorgeous. Did anyone see the recent episode of the one she did of the little girl who drowned? Heartwrenching, beautiful...amazing.

I wanted one and had an appt for today but got blown off by the artist. The other guy said to call back around six but when I did he was too busy. Maybe this is a sign not to get one.

well i have 5! YIKES! i know, but i like htem all!

on my right side of my chest i have a little lady bug
on my left shoulder blade i have a butterfly and the body of the butterfly is DHs name
on the middle of my back i have an orchid
on my inner thigh (visible to noone except DH) is a shooting star
on my lower back is another small butterfly entertwined in a vine of sorts.

whew....you can hardly see any of them with the way i dress a majority of the time, but in this summer heat, a couple are visible



DH has 2 tattoos
a superman logo (don't ask) on his arm
2 wedding bands entertwined with my name above them on his same arm
