Sloppy Joe's for Dinner?

Hmmmmm, I haven't had Sloppy Joes for a while. Sounds good for tomorrow. Usually we have some kind of french fries with them. And either cole slaw or potato salad.

Bread & butter pickles are required too.

I am bringing a quick dinner up to my dbf's house. Sloppy Joe's are his favorite. I normally just serve them alone, but would like to prepare a side dish. What do you normally serve with your Sloppy Joe's?

Ruffles! I love to eat the meat on Ruffles! And a veg or fruit.

We do cole slaw and roasted veg. You already have your starch in the bread..no need for fries, tots, etc. But, I do love chips ON mine if the mood strikes. And raw onion and bread and butter pickles..

Ha! I am one that can't do both a sandwich AND fries/tots. It's just too much "stuff" for me. If I get fries, I have to have just veggies/salad with it. If I get a burger, I get cole slaw or salad with it. Both are fantastic singly, but the combo it just too much. Unless it's my yearly craving for a McD burger with fries on it.

We don't do sandwiches...we do sloppy sweet potato fries. I make the meat/veggie mixture and put on top of sweet potato fries with shredded cheese and hot sauce
served with cut up fruits

Tossed salad.

A salad or other vegetable. The buns are already a starch so I never feel we need a 2nd carb. Sloppy joe's are like a one dish dinner like casserole. No sides needed.
