Sloppy Joe's for Dinner?

I am bringing a quick dinner up to my dbf's house. Sloppy Joe's are his favorite. I normally just serve them alone, but would like to prepare a side dish. What do you normally serve with your Sloppy Joe's?

Just depends on how fatty and junky you want to go.

Mashed potatoes for sure as one side in our family, because some like to put the Sloppy Joe mixture over the potatoes rather than on a bun. Other side dishes usually include green beans and fruit

A salad or other vegetable. The buns are already a starch so I never feel we need a 2nd carb. Sloppy joe's are like a one dish dinner like casserole. No sides needed.

Yes--the crunch of the cabbage and sweet/tangy dressing goes well with sloppy joes.

We are easy on sloppy joe nights. It's always chucks of Colby/Jack cheese, dill pickle spears and chips with French onion dip.
