Ok everyone…..fess up…..who likes candy corn?



For Me……I love them, but only this time of year - I have no desire to eat them after November.
This year I made the mistake of making them accessible 100% of the time (picture below). So now when I walk past them I’m grabbing a few (I already bought a new bag )

I "sort of like them" -- meaning, if I see them I think "oh, I don't need any of those. I don't even like them that much." But once I eat the first one, then I keep going back... again and again... so I guess I *do* like them. So they rank pretty low on my favorite candies list, but it doesn't prevent me from eating them! Your decorations look great!

I like them and usually pick up a bag this time of year. I am the only one in my house that eats them, though, so kind of dangerous to have them here.

I do love candy corn. I like the kind that has the brown a little bit better (unless it’s my imagination). I haven’t bought any this year as I’ll just eat it all myself.

No, I don’t like it. Never have. Just too sugary for me and tastes artificial, IMO. When I was a kid, if I got it from trick-or-treating, I would throw it out.

Me too. I decorate with them......and the Harvest corn with the brown at the bottom.
To eat....no. Just tastes like sugar to me

Love it!! It’s only second in my affection to the other often-maligned seasonal delicacy, molasses kisses. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen either one available here yet this season but since I’m largely off sugar anyway, I guess I should be grateful not to have the temptation.

Hierarchy Of Halloween Candy when I was growing up:

--Tier 1: Chocolate bars and M&Ms
--Tier 2: Caramel* and chocolate-like substances (Kraft Caramels, Tootsie Rolls, etc.)
--Tier 3: Suckers and Lollipops (Tootsie Pops, Blow Pops, etc.)
--Tier 4: Candy that doesn't fit into the above and isn't Tier 5 (candy corn would be here)

*--There was a Great Schism over whether Rolos were Tier 1 or Tier 2. There are long-held grudges over this.

I have a love/hate relationship with candy corn. I do eat and like the taste during halloween, but I would never go out and buy them.

I like candy corn and even better the "harvest mix" that has the pumpkins in it too. But I can't leave it out in a candy dish here because DH is diabetic and I don't like to tease.

Yes, I will say that a little candy corn goes a long way, especially those pumpkins!
